I was able to call and get scheduled for the same day (I'm going to say try calling a day or two in advance for good measure) and had a very relaxing and healing massage with Sylvia (I hope Im getting her name right!!) who was wonderful. When I walked into Clearly Natural I was impressed. The decor is amazing, not expected for a spa in this area. The environment is soothing and tranquil. This was all really good selling points for me, because it was first visit. A girlfriend of mine had highly recommended that I give this spa a visit. My esthetician Christi came out immediately. She queried me about the services that I wanted to receive and she was very helpful and knowledgeable. Also she was very warm and friendly, and sold me on this spa. There was a Kourig there, which was a plus to me. I availed myself of that immediately. There were refreshments and beverages. Such a wonderful place. Christi led me to the treatment room for my facial and waxing treatment. The room was totally restful and calming. I was given a wonderful luxurious spa robe. Christi stepped out and returned in a reasonable amount of time. I got onto the treatment bed, and it felt amazing, absolutely perfect for a spa bed. The waxing service that I received from Christi was amazing, she is very thorough and knows her craft very well. She put my mind at ease because she is so caring and professional. My facial left my skin feeling amazing and looking more vibrant and refreshed than it has in months. The natural products that they use at Clearly Natural were perfect on my skin, nothing felt too harsh, or drying. The smells of the products were amazing also. And Christi informed me what each product was that she used on me, but did not try to pressure me to purchase anything. The price was excellent and the staff very friendly and accommodating. The only negative is I'm not sure how well trained masseuses are in Louisiana. In Texas and elsewhere, it requires several years of training, education, and experience, along with periodic recertifications. My provider didn't seem to have the firm grasp of musculature necessary for top quality deep tissue massage therapy. She was good. But not great. read more

I have had two services at Clearly Natural, one massage and one facial. During both of my visits, I was greeted by a friendly receptionist and was taken back right at my appointment time. I appreciate the generous military discount given at Clearly Natural. This made my already reasonable services even more of a treat (and also prompted me to leave a larger tip). My massage (by Vanessa) was exceptional. Her technique is wonderful. However, I was a bit confused when I waited on the table for my massage to start for 15 minutes. I actually got off the table to check my phone because I was worried that she had forgotten about me. Also, the room was not very clean (full trash can, items on floor, massage lotions strewn below the table). I am convinced that the sheets hadn't been cleaned before me because I saw leftover black mascara on the face rest. My facial was mediocre. The technician did great extractions and massage. However, I was not impressed with the products used. I don't think she put a mask of any sort on my face. She did use sunflower oil, which she claimed would not break me out, but it did. The technician was very sweet and friendly, but talked a lot about her personal life. This didn't make for the most relaxing experience. She seemed to have a lot of training and experience in her work, which showed in how she explained things to me. Again, this room was not clean. The shelves that contained the facial supplies were disheveled and did not look sanitary. Overall, I would not return to Clearly Natural for a facial. I may return for a massage if I am desperate. The women who work here are incredibly warm and friendly, but the spa could use a few improvements on professionalism and cleanliness. *Side note: I recommended Vanessa to my husband who needed a massage a few weeks ago. He called and made an appointment. On the morning of his appointment, he received a call stating that it had been canceled due to an emergency. He promptly called back and left a message to reschedule, but still has not received a call back. read more

The recurring theme of this establishment canceling their appointments held true with my visit as well. I was passing through town from Texas to Alexandria, had been driving a while and called to schedule an appt. I saw the recent one star reviews about this place canceling appts or forgetting about customers, but figured I'd give them a try as there aren't very many legit massage places around. Called and scheduled, and they told me they could do it today no problem. Arrived and as I'm walking in the door they tell me they forgot about an open house and so they can't do it today. I literally just called not 30 minutes prior. Extremely disappointed, I drove about 30 miles out of my way to be turned away at the front door. I love this place. They give the best massages, and the staff is extremely friendly. The prices are very reasonable, as are the hours. When my mother first came to town, I took her as a treat and she loved the place. Every time I went back, before her next visit, the ladies there always inquired about my mother. I love this place. This spa may be the only thing I miss about Leesville when I leave. They have a wonderful pregnancy massage (and the non pregnancy ones are lovely as well), the facials are decadent, and even getting my eyebrows waxed has become a pleasant experience. They have always been extremely friendly (non of the spa snootiness you get at some places) and are very affordable. For instance, I lost a gift certificate and they were very understanding and made sure that I was able to use the full value of my gift despite my propensity to lose things. read more
