I waited anout 15 mins when the secretary called me over, telling me that the first np i had seen had reviewed my chart and she said she will not do anything she wants you to go to your PCP, an hour away and closed on a sunday....very odd way to deliver ( or not deliver) walk in services. Once in the building, finding the practice you need to visit - for first time visitors - is a bit difficult. There are menus on the wall but you need reading glasses to read the small print. There is a sense of filth when you walk into the building also. I had an appointment on the top floor. Taking the elevator to the top floor took nearly ten minutes in the very old elevator. Plan for that as well upon arriving. The place where I had an appointment was very small with a window to appear and give your name for the appointment. Seats are limited in the waiting area. I ended up canceling the appointment because of the long wait time and I was on time! I found a better practice nearby for treatment, and one that had free parking. The office does not validate parking either. Overall: Was not impressed with this facility and don't recommend it.

Mass General is screwing people so bad. Mass Eye & Ear is included in the conglomerate. Another place we've been going to several times a year since the mid-90s. Anyone who has been here a few times would know. It's no more questionable than the nail salons in town. With that said, every masseuse that works here is very skilled and about 2/3 of my visits have really been outstanding, ie complete full body massage including back, legs, neck, feet, hands, arms, with great technique and the strong pressure I request, hot wet towel followed by a clean dry towel and more massaging before rolling over, feet and neck worked on while I'm on my back for the last 15 minutes, and massages that have me walking out the door about an hour and a few minutes after I walked in. That is as good as it gets really. They are also open late and really close, so I can get a massage at the way end of my day like I prefer- when I can really relax before settling in for the night. What makes this review a 3 star is most of the time I get the same, let's call her the "regular" girl, and her performance is erratic. One day she is outstanding as described above, another day I get a massage that includes a lot of her forearms and knees, very little use of her hands, some of that is always welcome but a whole massage of it is disappointing. Also on these "off" occasions she tends to quickly move past my hands, feet, and neck, possibly skipping them all together and may seemingly kill time with what I'd call "fillers" - like repetitively rubbing my head or ears or an odd place like my arms, then if I ask her to move on she will say "oh ok feet" but will only do another area quickly then moves back to some useless excercise again. Maybe on these off days she is tired, however there is always another worker there and I feel like she purposely takes most of the work. He has provided great relief that lasts. He also treated me after Bell's Palsy and I had no lasting effects. My left shoulder did not respond to a cortisone injection. He treated me and combined with physical therapy it feels great. In fact, my PT who is with Brigham and Women's in Boston is greatly impressed with the care I received. She has her PHD in PT and asked me for Dr. Edelstein's cards so she could refer patients to him. The staff is friendly and helps you feel at home. They deal with my crazy schedule and always find a way to work me in when I most need treatment. I highly recommend this practice which was initially referred to me by 2 friends who are also patients. PS. Not that it matters but Dr. Edelstein has also treated some of the Bruins and Patriots.
