Yes, they changed my broken side window, but were not equipped to disassemble the door and remove the broken glass -- so now I either have to ride around with a rattling door or go to the additional expense of having Tesla remove the broken glass (which would have been taken care of if I just let Tesla replace the glass). And ps, they didn't tell me this would be the situation until AFTER they replaced the glass.

I decided not to do that and looked into chrome delete instead to give me the appearance I was looking for. After being quoted over 1300$ for it by a few shops, I managed to come across Jaime's business. I reached out to him and he called me back immediately. He spoke to me in depth on the phone and quoted me a great price, well under the others. I told him as soon as the car comes in he will have my business. It would take another 4 months for to my car to be built and arrive. during this time, I periodically reached out to Jaime reminding him I was going to use him and to also let him know my husband would be using him as well. He always responded right away. Fast fwd to us both getting our cars within a few days of eachother. we stopped in to speak to Jaime in person and get a real price for all the work we would do. I went in for chrome delete but wound up getting so much more done. I had the windows tinted, the chrome delete, ceramic, front PPF, the calipers painted, and the rims powder coated. My husband did the same to his car as well minus the calipers and rims. Jaime let us drop off our cars immediately upon delivery and he dedicated his time to our cars over the next few days. My car was done in two days and my husband's took a-little longer because he also had it lowered at a different shop that Jaime worked with. Jaime would txt us both photos throughout the process though and always kept us in the loop. He also washed the car for us and made sure it was nice when he handed it back to us. Fair pricing, not over inflated. Jaime is honest and he and his crew are very hardworking. Quality was not sacrificed. When I went to pick my car up it looked so different and I loved it. I did notice though that the front tints were darker than what I had originally asked for. It was supposed to be 35% but was accidentally 20. when I brought it up to Jaime, he made sure to let me know it wasn't going to be an issue and that he would correct it. I bring it back this week actually to be redone. Mistakes happen and it's not a big deal to me. It was how he responded that mattered. Loving how my car looks and knowing it's more protected than before has been wonderful. If I ever need any further work done I know I can count on Jaime and he'll be the first person I call.

My experience with Safelite in Freehold was beyond frustrating and ultimately very expensive…read more What should have been a simple repair of a tiny nick turned into a disaster. The technician who came to my home managed to crack the windshield within minutes of starting the repair. That mistake alone forced me to go through Allstate and pay a $500 deductible just to deal with damage that happened during a routine service. I then had the windshield fully replaced at Safelite. For a 2025 vehicle, I expected quality work. Instead, just three days after the windshield was replaced, a stress crack appeared across the glass. When Safelite came back out, they refused to take responsibility, claiming there was a "nick" at the top--something that was never pointed out before or immediately after installation. I've since had multiple people in the auto industry look at it, and both said the same thing: this is consistent with a stress crack from improper installation or poor-quality glass--not outside damage. To be fair, the second technician who came out was absolutely wonderful--professional, kind, and clearly trying to help within the limits he was given. Unfortunately, he was representing a company that simply would not stand behind its work. At this point, I'm paying out of pocket to have another local company fix what Safelite got wrong. If this is what passes for "repair" and "replacement," I'd strongly suggest trusting literally anyone else with your windshield.
