No matter where you guys and ladies go you'll find this. Is it busy here at this Macdill AFB Clinic? Oh you bet especially the morning or mid afternoon time this place is jammed pack with patients picking up or dropping off prescriptions, waiting for X-rays, blood work, or see the doctor on site. My father hasn't yet seen a doctor here or had any test done which is a great but we have been both told that the wait time could get timely depends on the doctor, test and etc. Best advice is come early and see if they can get you in for whatever you may need.

The doctors and nurses that I have met so far have all been very friendly. The front desk staff is always curteous and willing to help. Some others in the back should smile more. Some of them look like they hate their job and dont want to be there. Smile...you have a JOB! Other than that...I like coming here. Having never had a please non-traumatic experience at an er, and shying away from hospitals at all…read morecosts normally, I went in by request from the np at a nearby urgent care for very hi bp and pain. It was quiet thank goodness, I was received cheerfully and admitted right away, I asked each caretaker their name but have forgotten some, The admitting nurse was amazing and kind, I remember she had dark hair and nice lashes and a cool script tat on her left arm. My attending nurse, Judith, (same name as my mom's, irony) was fantastic, calm, kind, nurturing. She took fantastic care of me and did not treat me like I was a hindrance. I want to say, Emily?, she took me to xray and was great and we had a nice chat about water shoes, Ecuador and earthing, there was another who did the administrative (long black hair and pretty eyes, she was cool too. I remember she had cool flower tats on her arm. Even the security guard at the entrance was super cool. The attending dr, was nice, kind and had a great bedside manner, not something I am used to from er drs. Ooh there was also a nice nurse who did my ekg. Overall despite being there under scary-ish circumstances w/super hi bp from crazy hip/back pain and stress, they made me feel welcome and cared for. The whole facility was nice, clean and modern. Every care worker in the halls, while i was being moved around was kind. It was a nice calming energy for a place that see lots of trauma and stress. So yes this is the first time I am giving 5 stars not only to TGH but an er. I am grateful for how kind and respectful the entire staff was to me yesterday, New Year's eve, when everyone should be allowed to rest w/fam & friends and bring in the new year with joy. Thank you. But at almost 2 hours, when your nurse practitioner has to phone me, to find out I'm not roomed like the staff said, I'm still in the waiting room. Kinda made me miss my Grandparents passive aggressive funny banters. Outa the 2.5 years i been coming here? Like i said at the start? I only had 1 bad interaction with another patient and it was today. I don't see myself in the bombshell category of beauty but i am aware of how some guys get with me. Tall, muscular, lots of manner, kind hearted and hella aggressive. I might as well wear a bulls eyes on my ass. Lol I literally stopped going to bars cuz of it. Other fyi? Theres a tiny wait room inside. So if the blood retrieval is full? U gonna sit there and wait again. I did maybe 3 times. It has a tv and water. The nurses are great and sweetie pie types. Never had a bad one. Doctors are great also, again never had a bad one. I would recommend this place if you are in brandon, valrico area. Its way closer than moffit ( i butchered the spelling lol ) i asked before and FC works hand in hand with them. So they can transfer your case without drama over there. Or vise versa. I am extremely dismayed by the downward turn of this office. I am not sure if it is because they are part of Advent Health now and they are to big to manage their practice or if the office just doesn't attract the best Doctors anymore. I know for a fact that the office staff is not as thorough and proactive as they need to be. They called us new patients today, really. (This sentence will sit on its own) After 3 weeks waiting for a follow up appointment for another visit, that was inadequate, the doctor was not there, his schedule changed. That's ok, I get it. Too bad it changed weeks ago and no one told me or rescheduled my sons visit. Too bad I burned vacation time today for nothing. I must identify the positive, Dr. Sehres is amazing and there is another doctor there who is wonderful, his name escapes me. This is not enough to keep me. The specifics aside I will no longer take the kids to the Riverview location because of the RNP and I am actively looking for a new primary care provider as of today. I'm actually a bit sad about the death of this great office and the 2 decades of time spent building what I thought was a doctor patient relationship with them.
