I don't even want to leave one star. This place is awful they are petty and unprofessional. They literally refuse to give me my lower denture that has already been paid for. They have had my lower denture since before Thanksgiving, I've lost 20lbs due to the fact that I can't eat allot of foods without my teeth, I now weigh 90lbs. I have had 2 people from my insurance call them and talk to them and ask them why they refuse to give me my teeth. I've filed a complaint with the bbb, I filed a complaint with my dental company you, they told my insurance i could come in as a walk in but when I called them they refused and said I couldn't and that I'm no longer welcome there, why?? Because I got angry because you refuse to give me my teeth back that have already been paid for?? They are ridiculous DO NOT GO HERE FOR DENTAL WORK, they will hold your teeth for ransom. My insurance just called them again last week and they still refuse to give me my teeth back even the lady from my insurance couldn't believe how they are treating me. I left a bad review and ever since then they have refused to give me my teeth. Im going to leave a review every single place I can and earn every one I can. Even before all of this every time I went in for an appointment they didn't even know why I was there, it's like what do you do, so you know read your patients files or do you just guess what's going on?? So I'm going to have every one I know leave reviews every where and im a vulnerable adult and the fact that they can just get away with treating people like this is not OK at all!!! I went in to get fillings on teeth that didnt even hurt and two weeks later my teeth are KILLING ME! I have to take 1000 mg of ibuprofen every 8 hours. It's been weeks and the second my meds wear off im in so much pain. I hate this place. read more

Low standard of care is an understatement. I lost my tooth because Dr Swenson drilled too deep. It took a return trip , which did no good. The other doctor looked at my tooth and said if it keeps hurting I would probably need a root canal. It stopped hurting , then in a few months it was bleeding around the edge. I had to have it extracted , it cost me 900 $. I made a complaint to their atrocious business , didn't hear a word until I received a letter cancelling any further appointments. BAHAHA , like I would ever go there again. This place is the bottom of the barrel for dental care . Period ...... I've been in touch with the MN board of dentistry I want my tooth back , and this place should lose their license. The only reason I went there was to save some money using Hennepin Health. I do not recommend clear lakes dental at all. I started going there because it was the only place that would take my state insurance and I believe that the dentist Dr. Ang is really good. He's super professional and friendly and I feel like he knows what he's doing, but the experience itself there is not great, and I can only vouch for Dr. Ang, The rest are not the best. It's a get people in as fast as you can and get them out even faster. They want to get in as many people as they can in the day and it's just not quality Care. My teeth are not doing well after seeing them for several years and now that I have better insurance through my work, I will not be returning. Not a good place. well I am current patient. initially I thought it was a pretty decent place, nice a spacious. today I went in to get my partial's and adjustments, I pay close attention to my interactions, every single time I come this "Dentist" h always been very impatient with me, anx and always makes me wait 10-15 minutes I'm always early to every appointment. I don't understand why she treats me like she does, today is my final appointment! I most definitely would NOT recommend this facility to anyone I know! read more

I have an FSA and the front office staff were unwilling to provide an actual invoice for services that I could submit. Even when I went in person to fill out their release of information (as if I were submitting my records to another provider), I was not given a invoice. I received an invoice by email and though I was charged $200 and I paid $200 on the day of the visit, the amount on the invoice did not match. The Dentist Dr Pham was very professional, but the way of doing business seems sketchy to me. read more

The first time we booked apts, we got there only to be told they did not take Medicare and my husband couldn't be seen. I booked an apt to get my crown put back on. I get there and waited over half an hour. The receptionist assured me they'd be with me shortly. I waited a few more minutes. I asked the receptionist to ask how long it would be. She came out and said they would take me back shortly, they had forgotten about me. They finally came and got me. I sat in the dentist chair for 10 to 15 minutes. They took an x-ray. I wait some more. Finally the dentist comes but says they don't do crowns, they could temporarily put it back on and refer me to another location. I say okay. I wait some more. I couldn't wait any longer. I asked for my crown back. I asked to talk to someone in charge. This person did apologize. The whole experience was strange, the office is full of people walking around, loud music. Just not quite the experience one would anticipate in a dental office. The chair faces the window. When people come in and talk to me they stand behind me so I can't see them talking. Just a very strange experience all together. Not very professional in my opinion. read more

Only 2 positive reviews out of 17 and the last positive review was from 4 years ago! I've been a patient for 4 years and have steadily watched Clear Lakes' Dental staff professionalism decrease. I have read several reviews about possible fraudulent business practices with unlawful billing for services not performed or for billing that does not make sense and people being charged out of pocket because the office improperly filed their insurance paperwork. After reading this, I recalled a time where I also had to pay for X-rays that had previously already been done. The filling they gave me fell out, that tooth then broke in half, so I found a new dentist. But even after having previously signed for my release of information requesting they send my records to this new dentist - they did not. Terrible care quality! Only go if you want to pay for garbage and garbage service! read more

I went in to remove 19 teeth for dentures. The Doctors and hygienist were great, but they didn't send in my antibiotic prescription to a pharmacy. When i asked to get it, they said they only do that if I come in for another visit. That's insane. The person I spoke with when I called to get an antibiotic was in a CALL CENTER and had no ability to contact the dentist! The call center claims the front desk has no phone, and the call center has no way to contact besides setting up appointments or leaving messages to be returned "at their earliest convenience - they do have other patients." WOW. The BUSINESS is run terribly, just horribly. Avoid at all costs. And if you work there, leave - you deserve better. read more

Received this voicemail/text message the morning of our appointment..."The dental cleaning has been canceled as they are referring us to another clinic because of a medical history". They opted to refer us to Apple Tree Dental stating they are more capable of working with people with special needs. This is absurd. We don't even get a say. After two phone attempts and no resolution with staff and management, I am moving forward with a discrimination complaint. read more

I went in for a partial for "one" missing tooth in the front. They took impressions, removed another tooth in the front, and when I finally got both of my partials, it was missing the tooth that I originally went in to get! And now, it may not get covered by my insurance. So, I may not get the one tooth that was all I wanted. All that happened was losing 2 other teeth, a partial that falls out on the bottom, and a partial on the top that hurts when it's in and doesn't have the tooth that I originally went in for. If you don't reschedule your appointments at least 24 hours before, and if this happens three times, they will not allow you to make another appointment. You can only do walk-in appointments afterward. They don't care if your car did not start, if you are sick, or if you have an emergency. The office does not tell you about these rules until it has happened three times. They don't have their rules written anywhere in the office or on the forms you fill out. I called them as soon as I knew my car would not start and I was told I can not get another appointment. Any cancelations from years ago will stay on their record. I am in the middle of some treatments and this is not a good time for me to change to another dentist. I always show up for my appointments unless something I have no control over happens. I am on Medicaid and I think this is why I am being treated like garbage! read more

This is for the Brooklyn Park location this is the worst dental office I've ever been to there staff are judgemental and talk about you there young kids working there there very unprofessional they don't communicate or know what they're doing nobody answers the phone. Worst dental place I have ever been. Dentist was NOT friendly at all, like I was interupting her day with my emergency of my face looking like a basketball. They said I would get right in, 2.5 hours later I was finally seen. Did NOT listen to me about my pain and didnt seem like she actually wanted to help. They accommodated me when I needed to reschedule, but in general, I am not very happy with the service I received at this place. The 'filling guy" (Dr. Park) did not file down my fillings enough so that a) i can't get floss between two of them b) the rough part of the filling was left on the front of my front teeth, and it was rubbing against the inside of my lip and very bothersome. When I called to request that he fix the fillings he DID NOT FINISH, the girl who answered the phone acted like she didn't know what to do. My son had to get a wisdom tooth pulled had no insurance, so he applied for their insurance spent a total of 450 dollars when he went in to get a pulled they said he had to get his teeth cleaned first really I have never heard of that before, I told this is bs I said this was a waste of time coming out here you knew what he was going to have done we demanded our money back, not only that I had gone the day before I went for a root canal but one of my upper teeth started to hurt instead they already did my x-rays the week before and said they needed more then they said they couldn't work on my tooth there said I had to go to their other office had me scheduled for the next day got a call that say day saying they had to cancel that appointment saying they haven't heard back from my insurance we will NEVER go back there again. read more

Didn't seem interested to help so I went to Emergency Dental Care in Roseville and received tremendous service care by EDC.

First time patient today. Entire staff was very friendly and professional. Great option for those without standard dental insurance.

I was able to get into this office with short notice for tooth pain. I couldn't get ahold of any other dentists due to Covid 19 but Clear Lakes answered my call! They did a great job taking X-rays and explaining everything to me. I ended up having an infection starting with an old filling in a molar and had to have the tooth pulled. The procedure was quick and they resolved the issue and I am now pain free. read more
