I would think Metro Dental could easily discern a need for a second or third endodontist, and that Dr. Morris would want to know how unkind and non-responsive his front desk is. Newsflash: someone with need of root canal is in PAIN! I will definitely go outside Metro to find someone sooner, and will think twice about continuing with Dr. Bowker, who advised me I would be able to see Morris within days. Boo on you Metro Dental, you can do better.

Saw the Periodontist in the same suite and was referred on the spot to Dr. Morrison's admin. She promised to call me back with an appointment that afternoon. I called the next day and without apologizing, she said she would call that day. I called five days later and she again, did not apologize. Told her I had had constant pain for weeks, had been referred by both my primary dentist and the periodontist in their office and she said an evaluation appointment would be more than two weeks away. Treatment would be more than two months away. I asked about other options and she said "they are the only endodontist for 58 offices". No offer of a cancelation list, which they certainly have. If you can get an appointment, Dr. Morrison and the dental assistants are very good. His admin could not care less.

Minus 10 stars if I could. After discovering the tooth was still abscessed, I found a new…read moreendodontist. He did a root tip extraction to try and save the molar. It didn't work. A month later I had to have the tooth pulled. First one ever. I take good care of my teeth and spend close to $5000.00 trying to saving this one. When the new endo examined it, he told me that it had degraded so much he could see the gutta percha, (the filling material). Then everything made sense. I am extremely allergic to latex, which is what gutta percha is, rubber. When the first root canal was done she went through the root tip and then packed in the gutta percha which came in contact with my tissue. Pain and inflammation were the allergic reaction! I could have kept my tooth and a lot of time and money if the first one had been done correctly. My original review stands. Run don't walk away from these people.
