Without my permission, he put all of the dirt he dug up along the side of their house on to my property and has left it there for a MONTH. In doing this he prevented me from being able to go between my front and backyard and kept me from having work done on my own home. When I attempted to call him to speak with him about the situation, he never called back. When I was able to speak with him in person he provided a litany of excuses, and became annoyed because I was upset and repeatedly stated that he "was working as fast as he could." So for your sanity and your relationships with your neighbors, do not deal with Dunn Rite!

I recently bought a house and the realtor company we worked with gave my information to this company (they told me that when they called the first time). First off, how many people have a ton of money laying around after purchasing a house to spend on windows? I'm not one of those people. They kept calling me. I would answer and kindly say I would call them back once I was ready to get a quote. They provided me with their number and everything was good. But they kept calling every single day! I've told them multiple times I wasn't interested now and would call back when I was. They don't care. They will ring your phone off the hook. Very pushy. I had to even block their number. Now because of this I will not even consider them when I do go to make the purchase of new windows.

If you look at some of my pictures of before and after you will be amazed. Plastering is an art and Tony has it locked down. His prices are fair and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone and will definitely be using him again. Pittsburgh Home improvements does a lot more than just plastering but they do specialize in that. Tony does any and all home repairs including painting and remodelling. I've texted and called and left several messages for these guys over the past month or so, which have been totally IGNORED. Who does that? Totally unprofessional. You guys told us you would take care of it and to follow up with us, and when we do, you ignore us. I got a call one night from Omega saying they were doing work in my neighborhood and wanted to know…read moreif we planned on getting new siding, windows, etc in the next year. I said, yes to the windows as my house could use an upgrade. They set up an appointment for us the next day, on a Friday night, and we were told that it would be 30 minutes... When the salesman showed up, he acted like our new best friend. He measured the windows, was very personable, etc. When we explained after a half hour that we had somewhere to be and were told that this would only be 30 minutes, he said that they hired some new call people, and it wouldn't be much longer. After getting windows and his whole kit out of the car and coming in, we had to see the whole demo of how great their windows are. Then, came the lovely sales dance. (Mind you, almost two hours after the appointment was supposed to be over...) We were given a quote of $18,000 for 20 windows. BUT then there was a rebate offer for $1,500. When we weren't sold, then came another $500 off. When we still weren't convinced, then another 20% came off... In the end, the price came down to about $11,500. Since we were running so late, I asked if we could get an answer back to him in the morning. However, I was told once he walked out of the door, it went back up to $18,000, no discounts. He claimed it was a state law (trust me, it isn't) that if we didn't sign then, the deal was gone. He continued to try many different techniques to get us to sign (only have to buy 5 windows, just sign the paperwork for financing, etc.) I get it-- he is a sales guy. But when I 100% said no, we are not signing tonight, the switch flipped. His demeanor changed and his whole nice attitude was gone. He told me that he couldn't believe that me, being someone in the building industry, wouldn't understand what a deal he was offering us. Funny, but I didn't call them- they called me. I just wanted a quote on windows, and didn't know I would have to sign that very night, when the girl on the phone asked if I planned to do any renovations in the Next Year, and that the quote would be valid for a year (the $18,000 one, not the $11,500) I understand that he was a sales guy, this is the dance they do. But after an extra 2 hours that I wasn't expecting to sit there, I walked away feeling frustrated and annoyed. All because I wouldn't write a $4,000 check (30% deposit) after talking to this guy for an hour or so, he insulted my intelligence for not taking the overpriced deal. I can't speak for the quality of their work, because after this sales meeting, I won't be calling them to replace my windows.

When I asked about remediation in January 2025, which was about a year after the remodel, I was supplied a couple of drawer fronts. I contacted the owner who said that he would help and I patiently waited until today, September 2, 2025 when I noticed additional peeling. The product that I was sold is definitely defective. It make me sad because I saved for years to get another kitchen. I was at least hoping that it would be good for 10 to 15 years. Here are two examples and there are others.
