I called Cousins and I was a little disappointed I had to wait about 4 weeks for someone to come out and take a look, BUT when the day finally came, Mark got right to work inspecting the area and recommended securing a few other pieces of siding that looked like they were loose as well. I was shocked when I asked how long I'd have to wait for someone to come back out and fix it, and he said he would do it right then! The price was reasonable, so I signed the contract, and in an hour, he had cleared out some dead vines that had grown under the siding, secured the loose pieces, and reattached the piece that fell off. Extremely happy with his work!

I contracted with Exceptional Exteriors for a new roof, new gutters/downspouts, soffit/fascia, as…read morewell the replacement of the siding on a small section on the rear addition to my house. I'd done some research into them specifically, talking to people who'd had work done by them, and asking for their impressions. Without exception (no pun intended), their comments about their respective experiences were all strongly positive. I now have the opportunity to add my voice to this chorus. From start to finish, this was one of the smoothest home improvement projects I've ever undertaken. Mick Harvey, the sales rep, went over everything in fine detail, and addressed several of the special issues the project presented with an expertise gleaned from his years as a roofer himself, and he also provided some solutions which I hadn't considered that turned out to be excellent suggestions (particularly the SmartVents, which improved the air circulation in my attic tremendously). When the crew showed up on the day scheduled, they went to work immediately, and functioned like a fine watch -- each person doing their particular job, and working in harmony with one another with seemingly little direction. It was clear to me that these guys knew exactly what they were doing. As a result, both crews (one for the roof, one for the gutters, fascia, etc.) were able to complete the entire job in a single day. Afterwards, there was a minor issue around the front porch which they corrected promptly and completely. The project was divided into two phases, as the Hardie siding had to be special ordered. So, about 6 weeks after the roof job, another crew arrived to remove the old vinyl siding and replace it with the Hardie shingle siding. Again, the crew went straight to work, removing the old siding and putting up the new (for which Exceptional is certified by the manufacturer), along with the necessary framing, painting, and the correction of some issues that were revealed when the old siding was removed. Both on the day that the roofing was done and the day that the siding was done, Roman, the owner of Exceptional Exteriors, stopped by to check in on the job, and he also took the time to explain to me a couple of issues that came up, along with solutions to resolve them. During the project, I also spoke with Mary, the office manager for Exceptional, and she was always thoroughly professional in every way. As a result, I couldn't be more pleased with the work, and my house has been transformed. My neighbors have all commented on how great my house looks now. And having watched the Exceptional crews working throughout the entire process, I have the confidence that it is a job well done. I highly recommend them for any project you are considering.

Dan did not try to over-sell us on anything, and stayed within our budget. Everyone in my neighborhood has been complementing the house! I cannot recommend them enough!!
