Reed is extremely personable and all communication was excellent, which put me at ease before he even got here. He came out to do the gutter cleaning but I hadn't mentioned the gutters had guards so he ended up needing to come back to do the job, however he went up and removed the visible trees starting to grow out of the gutters while he was here the first time, which I really appreciated. This is the first time I've had gutters cleaned and I wasn't aware the guards were an issue, so if you have guards, mention it up front to avoid any issues. He came back and instantly got to work. I have a large home so it took him a few hours to clean the gardens that had started growing in my gutters. When he was done, all the greenery was gone from my gutters and the downspouts were cleaned out. This is going to sound weird but I am looking forward to the next time it rains so I can see how the gutters are supposed to work. Since purchasing the home, the rain has been pouring over the edge of the gutter and the soffits had started to sag in places where the little trees had started growing. After he was done, there was noticeably less sagging in the soffits, which I was very happy to see. The guards were obviously not working as intended because as I said, there were little trees growing, so we discussed it and decided to not put them back on. Next year, we will have him install a different type of guard system that will hopefully work better than what was in the house when I purchased it. Overall I was extremely pleased with Reeds work and my interactions with him and would suggest him to friends or family needing their gutters cleaned. He is an extremely hard working man and I will definitely be using him the next time anything needs to be done with the gutters. Give him a try! You won't regret it.

They came when they said they would, called first, did a really fast and excellent job on our repairs and installation. I had also called them way back at the start of 2014 when we first saw that we needed work but didn't actually get around to hiring someone until now, November. They honored their January estimate. My only problem (and I admit it was my fault) was the end estimate was higher than they originally quoted because we needed fascia replaced. They did tell me that would be extra, and they told me the per foot price. I forgot about that "small detail" so when they gave me the bill I was surprised at the higher amount, but then they explained it to me and I remembered they did tell me that, so it was my bad. They did do extra work and/or gave me an aluminum cover for the replaced wood fascia and did not charge me the extra amount it would have been. LOVE IT!!!! Oh, and one other thing; they originally made a mistake on the color of the gutter and so had to return a second day with the proper color but of course did not charge me extra. This was a small and understandable mistake which they promptly made good on. The workers were fast, came when they said they would, worked quietly and very cleanly. No evidence anyone had been there (we had watched them work intermittently so of course we knew they were there!) because they cleaned everything up so well. Office staff, workers and Paul (the owner?) himself were very polite and nice. What a delightful change from most companies nowadays. Highly recommend them.

It should be noted that their customer service people don't seem to work at the Long Island office but rather an office in New Jersey. My criticism is of the people at their main phone number, not anyone on Long Island. They charge an additional fee if you don't put a credit card on file. Now I am extremely glad I did not put a credit card on file with this company. After the service was performed I went to their website to pay by credit card (the charge for not having a credit card on file still applied). I entered my credit card info and submitted the payment. Their system showed it processing longer than you would expect for a payment to be applied. Finally their system said there was an unexpected error and asked me to try to pay again. Before doing that I checked my credit card account and there was a pending transaction from Ned's for the amount of the bill. Ned's had no record of my payment. I spent the next three days calling their office staff and sending them a copy of the credit card transaction from my bank. It was not a pleasant experience dealing with their staff. A representative offered me a "coupon" for my trouble and said it would be applied to my current bill. It sounded good but never came through. After 3 days the payment was finally applied to my invoice but there was no sign of a credit for the so-called coupon. I called them and another rep said it was applied to a credit card ending in "8174" however that is not my credit card as it doesn't end in those numbers. So if they actually issued a credit to a card ending in 8174, someone else got my money. They said they would investigate and get back to me but four days later nothing from them. They haven't called me back on the last two phone calls I made to them. I've seen some company responses here telling people to contact them at a support email address. Before writing this review, I sent them an email detailing the issues and the lack of the promised "coupon" credit. There was no response from them, not even an acknowledgment they would look into it. I give the actual gutter cleaning an "A" but the rest of the company an "F".

When they arrived they said it was too low a price and left without doing the work and went through a higher rate.So if you want a low price with an unprofessional company, you got it. If you have someone else you like, use them! This company is unreliable and unprofessional.
