I've had doctor Andi Keane for close to 4 years now. She has stuck with me through the bad all the way to the great. It's hard to find a doctor you can trust and be vulnerable to, once I knew I was ready to be honest with my self and I opened up and was completely honest andi knew she could help me as long as I wanted a better life and was willing to continue to do whatever it took every single day to stay off of street drugs. I can't thank andi and journey road enough for staying by my side and helping me in every way they could. I have done more productive things in my life in the time I started going to treatment that I ever have or would have. Great job, bought a home, had a baby, got engagement.. Most importantly I stayed sober and continue to do so. I highly recommend journey road to those who are ready to do what's best for themselves. If you are going to think you're going to go here and play games and continue to lie... I promise you it won't work. You get what you put into this program. If you put in the work and follow their guidance, then you really can get clean and stay clean. It all starts with the individual, you have to really want to improve your life. Journey Road has helped me get my life back. I wouldn't have been able to be where I am at in life without them. My addiction has caused me to hurt the ones that I love most, I lost any shred of dignity and self respect. Journey Road has helped me repair my relationships with my family and I can honestly say that I am happy and proud of where I am at in my life right now because of their guidance. I enrolled in college last year and it has been going great. I hope that with their encouragement and guidance that I will graduate college and become the person that I know I can be.

They lost a brand new outfit that I purchased for my loved one. They never made any effort to find it or reimburse me for it. Whenever I would call to check on him, they would never give me any information on how he was doing. He came out worse than he was when he went in. The staff acts like they really don't care about the patients. This facilitate gives mental health hospitals, a bad name.

When the unit does answer they do not say their name. You cannot even get who is caring for your child- even when you have legal guardianship. I have had 2 people represent themselves as nurses. To date not one voicemail returned- except by the patient advocate. It was 3 days before informed call came. No one offers visitation hours, what the schedule looks like for a patient. You are at their mercy, and their mercy is rude. Finally in the last 1.5 days I have been able to get information. This took contacting the state ombudsman.

I'm biased toward the Community Health Network, after I received such superb care during my brief hospital stay at Community Hospital South; their network is also less expensive than Franciscan. So: Location. Right next to the freeway exit (465 & Washington Street E) -- easy to get to. Dedicated parking lot, and easy to drop patients off at the front door. Facilities: Clean, comfortable, roomy waiting area. Friendly and efficient front desk staff. Plenty of available masks & hand sanitizer. Waiting area easy to socially distance. Chairs comfortable. Experience making appointment: Courteous receptionist who helped me immediately, and offered two back-to-back appointments (for myself and His Goatness) within four days of my call. Appointments can be booked online, as well, for existing patients. Filling out forms/receiving results/payment: ALL available online, and easy to navigate. Received access to my visit summary within three hours. Received access to my labwork as soon as it was reviewed by the pathologist. Reminders for treatments/diagnostics due show up on the app as well -- makes it easy to keep track of ongoing care. Medical staff: Samoyia, the nurse, was friendly, efficient, and helpful. Dr. Zachary Crowell, new to the practice, was logical, organized, and pleasant, spending all the time needed to sort and make sense of my medical history and needs. He made two referrals to deal with my current needs, all within the same network -- I received callbacks and made appointments before the day was over. I'm going to enjoy working with the both of them, going forward! Bonus: During hours/days the Family Practice is closed, there is an in-network urgent care and lab facility *right downstairs.* Appointments can be either walk-in or booked online.

Thanks to their care, my health has vastly improved, and I have felt like a valued member of the decision-making team from the beginning -- I have felt heard and respected. My doctor, Zachary Crowell, has been a caring and careful physician since I met him. He's helped me navigate essential surgeries, physical therapy, and medications to completely fix my ruined health, and I feel better now than I have in decades. Sarah Hunt, his nurse practitioner, took a full hour to thoroughly work up a problem I wasn't that concerned by, explaining what could be wrong, and what could happen if it wasn't corrected. I was truly impressed by her dedication, and have reevaluated my diet and made a couple of changes that should improve things going forward -- which I wouldn't have thought of, without her investigation.
