This will help to make the quotes more comparable and will ensure there aren't any major surprises along the way. - Confirm working hours (e.g., what time they will start each day, what time they will finish each day, do they work weekends, etc.). - If you have the space, buy new appliances as soon as possible. Similarly, order shower glass doors as soon as tiling is done. You never know when something will go out of stock or if there will be unexpected delays in delivery. - Be prepared to make all the design choices (unless you hire a separate designer). They will opine on something very specific if you ask and will definitely bring something to your attention if they think you're about to make a huge mistake, but in general, you are responsible for all the materials selection. We met with 6 contractors before selecting Entourage. Of the 6 we met with, only 2 encouraged doing things "by the book" (i.e., getting the proper permit from the city). In fact, some of them actively discouraged us from obtaining the permit. Given the magnitude of the project, it made us a bit nervous that some of the contractors didn't want us to pull the proper permit (we understood that obtaining the permit will add to our budget and timeline and were ok with it). Of the 2 that did recommend doing things by the book, we went with Entourage because their pricing was more reasonable. FYI, Entourage handles all the work related to pulling the permit for minimal cost. Overall, we are very happy with how our house turned out and plan to hire them on future projects (we have also recommended them to several friends). Entourage's quality of work, especially as it relates to tiling, is just amazing. In fact, friends that came over to check out the "new" house commented on how they thought the project would've cost way more than what we ended up spending. Our primary contact, Paulina, was super responsive and helpful. They estimated that the project would take 3 - 4 months and it was completed almost exactly on the 3-month mark. Kevin and his team at Seib Construction really go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction!…read more  Earlier this year my kitchen took a major hit when a water filter leak took out half of my cabinets and a big swatch of drywall, flooring, and wall moldings.  As if that weren't bad enough, the 1st contractor I hired to "demolish" and rebuild the damaged areas completely screwed up the rebuild portion of the work, and I had to call around looking for other contractors to finish the work. Fast forward a couple of months - after talking to a dozen or so contractors, and meeting with a couple who talked the talk but couldn't walk the walk, I found Seib Construction and hired them to finish rebuilding my kitchen. After Kevin and I agreed on the scope of the work, he delivered a time and costs estimate.  Because his company specializes in building and rebuilding custom kitchen and bathroom cabinetry, the good news was that the lion-share of the rebuild and refinishing work would be completed in Seib's shop.  The bad news was that doing the work offsite minimized my inconvenience, but it didn't make completing the project any faster - such is Life in the Fast Lane ;-) Throughout the project, Kevin had to coordinate multiple visits to my house by three different teams.  The work was finally finished last month, and the kitchen actually looks better than it did before the water damage happened.  I'm now a totally happy camper, and have no hesitation about recommending Kevin and his team to anyone looking for a quality contractor to rebuild or remodel their kitchen.
