What started off as a promising service, we were excited to sign up with Julia to have our house cleaned bi-weekly. She was local and starting her business and we were happy to support her. The first clean went well, and even though there were rather elaborate excuses why she was late, had to leave midway through the clean or didn't show up as planned for the other cleanings, we continued to support her. She unfortunately had some medical issues come up that she had to deal with and we were patient for a couple of months. Here's where things fell apart. We were never offered a refund for the cleanings that we paid for and to this day we can't get in touch with her to get a refund. We put down a deposit for four cleanings that have yet to be acknowledged. We have been reaching out to Julia for two months and no response. This is a very disappointing experience when we were nothing but understanding and supportive of her situation and trying to support a new local business. This is not a good way to do business and while I wish her well, this business ethic is not going to take her far. I do not recommend this service and I'd be embarrassed if I had interactions like this with clients. read more

Julia Everett was unreliable, unprofessional and I strongly advise against doing any business with this woman in this company or any future business endeavours. She performed cleaning services twice for me and both times had an elaborate excuse for either not showing up or leaving part way through the service. Since she was starting her business I wanted to continue to give her a chance and the benefit of the doubt. I booked three more cleanings and paid the deposits. Once again; she did not show up and despite me emailing and texting to confirm when I would get a refund, I heard nothing. She withheld providing me with a refund until after I posted a review online about my negative experience. So yes, I have since been refunded, but this has been a very disappointing experience and I unfortunately cannot recommend this company for your cleaning services. read more

I got them to do a pre-cleaning of my new place before I moved in. Booking the appointment was fast and easy to do, they did a fantastic job. I weill defintely use them again. read more

Emilie is bilingual and speaks both English and French, she has been highly trained and worked on Super Yachts for years and her attention to detail and refined cleaning standards are beyond industry standards and strives to leave your home in pristine condition. Julia has run businesses successfully for the past 7 years and continues to grow in her entrepreneurial endeavours. Cleansed is the first company she has opened and is opening it with her long-time best friend, Emilie.
