A lump of soap/cleaning product was stuck on the end of the butcher block counters. Windowsills untouched. Obvious cobwebs are intact. A 'tea ring' on an end table is obvious. An upright vacuum cleaner intended for carpets was the tool they brought for a home that is 80% hardwood. Last night (11/21/2022) I retrieved the dog' ball from under the sofa and found a piece of trash/paper beside it. The list of poorly done, or not done at all, is much longer than I want to type. They were here 2 hours and collected $250! The old adage 'you get what you pay for' doesn't apply here.

When we arrived, with the movers behind us, we almost told the movers not to bring our belongings into the disgusting house. The owner of Kustom Kleaning, Stephanie, was notified to find out if anyone had done a move in cleaning she said yes but they would come back, although, "everyone in Maine lives like that". Stephanie (Uhlman) Pike came with another girl and they spent four hours cleaning and didn't do a dent. The house was absolutely disgusting. She was adamant that a move in cleaning had been preformed and told me again that "EVERYONE in Maine lives like that". Anyone moving in to a house would expect it to be decent when they arrive with their belongings. (See pic's to show this house was gross.) As you can see, there is no way anyone cleaned this house. The refrigerator was disgusting. I brought a few items that needed to be refrigerated but I wouldn't put my food in it. It took 2 hours for my husband and I to clean the fridge. We had just finished cleaning it when Stephanie Uhlman Pike of Kustom Kleaning finally arrived and we were showing her how disgusting this house is. When we mentioned the fridge she turned around and opened it and said she hadn't even looked in there. Well, how do you do a "Move-In Cleaning" and not look in the fridge? *EVERY kitchen and bathroom cabinet, shelve, floor, closet and wall was gross. It was evident NO ONE cleaned it. Take a look at the range hood picture. The whole house stunk. I ended up buying a huge box of Baking Soda to spread on the carpet to get the stink out of it. *Who lives like this in Maine (or anywhere)? Look at these pictures! Totally disgusting! Stephanie is a LIAR and EXTREMELY RUDE and needs to learn some manners. She kept looking at me with the meanest face. She is scary. Before she left, she said "You are so stupid. You don't know who you are messing with"! HUH? Because you lied and said the house was move in ready when it is so obvious it wasn't then she got angry at US!?! SCARY LADY!! I was genuinely frightened of her. SHE IS TROUBLE! HEED MY WARNING: DO NOT HIRE THIS CLEANING COMPANY! She doesn't even know how to spell "CLEANING" so you can't expect her to know how to clean. I have plenty of pictures of Kustom Kleaning's work - or in this case, lack of work but I don't want to make anyone sick. She pretended like she didn't understand what we were talking about and was adamant the house was clean but as you can see it clearly was not. He was also able to accommodate the specific date we needed. The deep clean was thorough and he took his time with every room. The house was sparking clean, everything was shining and smelled fresh. There was no harsh chemical scent at all just an overall freshness to the house. The bathrooms are a particular challenge with the well water and the tub and showers looked new.
