Fast response to a request for mold source and remediation related to an thorough inspection report…read morefor a home we had just listed in Greenwood SC. Called Friday afternoon 8th December and arranged to meet Andy at the house Monday morning. He was extremely informative and very experienced and quickly examined the source of water ingress and inspected the vapor barrier and related areas where mold was visible. He provided a very fair quote, and accurate detailed description of what work was needed and was able to start immediately. He not only removed the mold and replaced the vapor barrier but blocked (from inside AND outside) the water ingress. And was very professional, fast and effective. The quote and final bill was below what I hade expected. I highly recommend him and his company Restoration1.

After the first visit, it took a full day for the carpet to dry. By the second day, there was an obvious odor of urine in 2 of the bedrooms (not previously observed), and multiple brown stains in one of the bedrooms that were not previously there. I requested for a re-service which was completed a week later. The same technician completed the re-service and was again polite and very quick. He re-cleaned 2 bedrooms with the urine odor and spot cleaned a third bedroom with the multiple brown stains in just 15 minutes. Unfortunately the carpet now looks worse than it did after the original cleaning. The urine odor is gone but the brown stains are even more noticeable now. I feel that I paid for a professional service that did not meet expectations.

That being said, not happy with the fact that two days after they provided the cleaning, this company appeared at the Greenville Home Show and offered a large discount for the service I paid full price. It would have been nice if they let us know a promotion was forthcoming but nope. Their representative at the show blew us off claiming there was nothing that could be done, phone center's in Atlanta etc.., I had even asked when making the appointment if any promotions were available and was told none were. Guess I'll have to ask in the future if I use this company again if they're planning to be at a home show soon.

They only looked at the outside unit and nothing under the house. Then they wrote up a bill for $19,000. We had another company come and looked at it and fixed the system for $300. The system wasn't blown up but need a new part. The duct only fell in one spot. They would seen that if they would of went under the house. Then they would only text me and not call me about canceling the repair. Very poor customer service! They just seen an elderly woman and wanted to take her to the cleaner.
