Problem is, after waiting for over 3 months to get them to get my moms roof done, we told them their services were no longer needed and moved on with a different company. After the initial claim was filed and insurance paid, all they ever did was keep coming out to take more and more pictures of the inside of her house, which was not part of the original claim, it was a building code for the decking that was the issue and several times they came out to take more pictures in the attic of the decking as well. What they did with the initial pictures is beyond me. I finally called mom's insurance company to find out what the hold up was only to find out no other paper work or contact had been initiated by Validated. That is when we told them we had enough, that was a month ago and Validated is now calling to ask how the job is going? They do not communicate within the company, with insurance companies nor with their clients.

Within less than a week, the cabinet paint began flaking and chipping down to bare wood with very light contact, which indicates the surfaces were not properly prepped or primed. There are also visible paint runs, uneven coverage, and areas that appear unsanded or not properly repaired before painting. Because I was concerned, I had two separate professionals come out for second opinions. All of them independently agreed the preparation was done incorrectly and that the cabinets and door jambs will likely need to be redone. I've been told it will cost me thousands of dollars to properly fix. I paid several thousand dollars expecting durable, professional results, and this has been very disappointing. I'm not sharing this to be harsh, but to help others make an informed decision. Prep work and attention to detail matter, and unfortunately those steps were lacking in my case.
