Whole life insurance was really forced down our throats. They stick to this "pillar" plan. Which is…read morefine and may work for some people but it doesn't for us. They definitely like to scare military families by using inaccurate statistics to try to get you to do the whole life insurance policies. We also had them do our taxes and there was a lot of miscommunication regarding payment/what forms needed filled out/etc. It definitely hasn't been the most pleasant experience, and we feel like our best interest isn't a priority. They use gross income to try to allocate funds, and if we were to go by their plan we would be eating ramen every night and never turning on anything electric in our home. All around just very difficult to work with. It wasn't so much about what we wanted to do, it was more what their "team" wanted us to do. However we did get some great education on finances that have been helpful.
