Then we finally were able to get some ranch when the host walked by and he was great and brought it to us right away but having to ask 3 times for some ranch was frustrating. If this was all and the food was great, I'd let all this go BUT the burger (which we added bacon to) was completely flavorless. For a burger to have meat cheese and bacon and still taste like nothing is impressive. When the ranch finally came...it was awful. I've genuinely never met a ranch I didn't like until this one. It tasted like chemicals. Everyone at the table tried it and agreed. I didn't try the wings that others at table had so I can't comment on them myself but there weren't any good reviews from that side of the table either. I think this may just be a spot to grab a drink because it's tough to mess up a burger wings and ranch but this place managed to.

They were still setting up but the organizer greeted and welcomed us right in. She gave us the rundown of the market. We strolled around and saw first that they have food trucks on site every week which is great! I always wind up at farmers markets absolutely starving. Right away we knew we were getting lemonade and corn dogs from the food trucks...and that's exactly what we did. (Mom got a healthy and refreshing açai bowl.) The Corn Dog Co. did something diabolical to their corn dogs and I can't stop craving them. They slather them in honey!!! Yes, you read that correctly. It was ingenious and frigging delicious. I won't be able to eat a corn dog any other way going forward. HAHAHA! The lemonade was homemade craft lemonade to order. I can't remember the names of two we tried but they were both perfect! They were served in these large cups with lids and at such a great price per. After our bellies were full and thirsts quenched we strolled through the booths. Everyone was so friendly and chatty. We got to hear about custom knives and pastured chickens. We stopped at Nicks 3-D printing booth where he had the cutest 3D printed knick-knacks and displays. I of course had to buy something right up my collecting alley. The booth next to Nicks was a woman who made homemade chemical free soaps and lotions which were great. She was also from San Diego county so we struck up a conversation with her too. There were custom aprons and multi-use fabric paper towels which I can't wait to try. There were craft candy apples and fudge. It's not a large farmers market but it is mighty! If you are in town make sure to check it out. Soaps made with tallow, aprons (which you can custom order), breads, pastries, honey - honey - honey, malasadas, fudge cups, iron designs, artists, hot dogs, several food trucks, ancient grains, veggies, Idaho potatoes! We got a lot, but I could have taken something from every vendor! This is the farmers market I want to visit.
