I have a service contract with Dalton Heating and Air, and for the last several years, I have had…read moreone issue or the other after they come out and do maintenance. Once, an aged wire disintegrated, it was not caught during a maintenance visit - I had to pay them to fix. Last year, within about 1 month of their maintenance service visit, the capacitor went out - - -( it was not caught during the service.) I had to pay them 195 dollars to come out and replace it. ( I checked the capacitors are $14.00 online.) I had a maintenance visit on 10/29/2025 - TODAY I woke up to no heat - so I reached out to another company because at this point I DO NOT TRUST Dalton Heating and Air - Come to find out that the Schrader valve has leaked out 8 pounds of refrigerant . . . $$$$$$$ to replace it! When I reached out to James W, (I have had several conversations with him, and he has ALWAYS been short and rude), he advised that it could have been caused by a technician putting gauges on and off the unit. Then he repeatedly asked me WHO I had working on my unit. . . . . For the service I have received from Dalton Heating and Air vs the constant paying more for this and this and this. (Because it has not been caught during maintenance THAT I PAY FOR) In my opinion They ARE NOT worth cost.
