If I could leave zero stars I would. I will never use this business again for anything after the experience I had with a new windshield purchase. Everything seemed wonderful at first, until it wasn't. A week prior to the complaint, I had the new windshield installed on my 4Runner. I planned to get the windows tinted on my vehicle and was going to get the eyebrow at Tunes & Tint. When Tunes & Tint was tinting my vehicle today, they called me to let me know that there were a couple of scratches that would show through the eyebrow shade on my brand new windshield. I told them to hold on on the eyebrow until I could speak with Clayton's Auto Glass. When I called Clayton's to notify them of the defect/imperfection the woman on the phone said they would need to inspect it at the shop to make sure it wasn't from a rock chip. I told her it couldn't be because they were installing the tint on the inside of my vehicle. She then admittedly was like, "I guess you're right, but we will still need to see it." I told her that once the tint job was finished I would bring it right over to her at the glass shop. When I arrived a woman came outside with me to look at these two scratches at the top of my windshield on the driver's side closer to the rearview mirror. She tells me that she needs to go speak with the owner of the business to see how she wanted to handle this issue. When the woman returns, she has the paperwork I had signed when I picked up my vehicle the week before saying that I agreed the glass had no issues then and that the best they would do is work with me on the price of a new windshield. I was stunned that this is how they would resolve the problem since they scratches weren't obviously visible and would have never been discovered if Tunes & Tint hadn't thoroughly prepped the glass to put the eyebrow on. Clearly they weren't something I would have noticed unless I was looking for it. My response was, "Well that's real shitty." One of the main reasons I went with this business is because it's a part of the Women Owned Small Business Federal Contracting Program. I mentioned that as I walked out and my disappointment in the integrity of the quality of their work. I do not recommend that anyone ever use them in the event that you do have some sort of problem come up because they will figure out a way deflect liability and leave it on the customer despite the fact that they messed up and didn't do their job right. Then have the audacity to suggest I buy another new windshield. THAT'S INSANE! read more

I was a little hesitant after not seeing too many reviews and what I did see was mixed at best.... I got a quote online and went in the same week Friday morning. They took my car, got the windshield replaced, (flawless job by the way), and called me a couple hours before close to come pick up my vehicle! The work was exceptional and the quote was even a little bit more than what I actually ended up paying (just a few dollars, but I'm happy either way)! The staff was very friendly and to the point, which I really appreciate! They also gave me a sheet along with my receipt of aftercare instructions to ensure the windshield stayed 100% the next few days after installation. This place is great. Had a deer hit the windshield in New Mexico, and drove it to Amarillo before deciding we couldn't continue. They have a texting option on their website which can quote you a price. It was $199 to replace a windshield on a 2005 Grand Marquis, which is about half the price I was expecting. Upon arrival, we sat on a comfortable sofa and waited a couple hours. They have a fast dry glue option for $15 extra that dries in one hour instead of four. Well worth it since we were waiting to leave town. The staff there is great. Not only did they replace the windshield to look like new, the tech must have spent 30 minutes just vacuuming out glass shards from all over the car from the deer. Previously, I would have given these folks a top rating, but as a returning customer, service not so great. Final bill was more than what was quoted and did not give a total on quote. Since I had been to them before, was expecting around the same price. I know prices go up, but they did quote a price. I think, more disappointed that they left my vehicle filthy and didn't bother to clean up the windshield, after placement. The pros would have returned a clean vehicle and clean placement product. I could have had someone come to me to replace windshield, but was trying to get a good price, even though insurance was paying for it. read more
