This gas station is located literally right around the bend from the Air Force base in Dayton Ohio…read more I drove up from Cincinnati to spend the weekend with my daughter, son-in-law who is in the Air Force and 2 grandchildren on a Friday afternoon. Having forgotten to get my car filled with gas before leaving I stopped here early on the evening to take advantage of my T-Mobile Fuel Rewards discount before it expired that night. This is a smaller gas station. It doesn't actually have a Shell sign on it but the gas pumps indicate that it sells Shell gasoline. The pumps prompt you by asking if you want to use a reward discount towards the purchase by either Kroger or Fuel Rewards. These are older pumps and I briefly had a little bit of trouble accessing my account for the discount. I got it right on the third try but this only added about a minute to my time. I had no other issues filling my car with gas and was soon on my way. There is a small convenience store here. As I didn't need anything at the time I didn't go into it. The lot is appropriately maintained. The price of gas was basically what it would have cost in Cincinnati. I will return here again the next time I forget to fill my tank. Until next time be kind to each other and stay healthy. @shell @yelpcincy @daytonohio #gasstations @j&roilcompany

I brought my 2004 Kia Spectra here because I was sent here to have a rear wheel stud replaced after…read morea discount tire shop damaged them. Unfortunately, after the repair I immediately noticed a new repetitive squeaking/grinding noise from the wheel and aggressive vibration when braking at higher speeds. I contacted the shop about the issue and was initially told that it was likely a coincidence and that I would need to make another appointment. I later had the vehicle inspected independently and eventually disassembled the rear brakes for inspection and replacement of the pads and rotors. Once everything was apart, the problem became very clear. The two replacement wheel studs that had been installed were not the correct application/specification for my Kia's hub. Although the thread size worked, the studs were intended for a different vehicle and did not seat properly in the hub. Because they were not sitting flush, the brake rotor could not sit flat against the hub. The rotor visibly wobbled when rotated and was actually contacting/grinding against the brake hardware. One of the brake pads at the affected wheel was also completely worn down to the metal backing plate, while the pads on the opposite rear wheel still had substantial material remaining. I inspected the caliper slide pins during the brake job and they were moving freely. What concerns me most is that the rotor interference was noticeable simply by spinning the rotor by hand. The grinding was obvious, and the vehicle was returned to me without this being caught. The car also was not road-tested afterward, which likely would have revealed the noise and braking vibration. I understand that mistakes can happen during repairs, but I expected the correct application-specific wheel studs to be installed and the work to be checked before the vehicle was returned to me. I ended up having to have a third party diagnose the problem, obtain another inspection, and redo the rear brake work and stud work to fix the issue. I also want to add that during this process the mechanics at this auto shop disconnected my dash cam without my consent, not once was I informed that my camera was disconnected and did not find out until the next day, I'm not sure why the shop would touch my property without permission without obtaining approval first, another issue I had was a foul odor in my car when it was returned. Based on my experience, I would never return here for future repairs.

The doughnut supply was starting to run down but it was almost noon when I stopped. Picked up two chocolate iced Boston Cream, two caramel iced, and one plain glazed (so I could eat it in the car). $7.55. The Boston Creams were huge and generous on the filling, and all were very fresh tasting. Two cheerful employees were on premises. This looks like a good pit stop to satisfy your hunger and fill your tank.

Yes! We have waited so long for this location to open. We were able to attend the VIC event the day…read morebefore it opened and we were not disappointed. The staff was friendly, and it was cool to meet people new to the area that are from where I grew up. We made them laugh when we asked if they would serve pork roll (please add pork roll to the menu) since it's not well known in the Dayton area. The "hoagies" also known as subs, are just top tier. We all agreed that in a lot of ways they are even better than Jersey Mike's. The cookies are also really tasty! I had a sample of the cookies and cream smoothie and it was really good too. We also got to sample the soft preztle, all I can say is YUM! The interior is clean, the bathrooms are nice, and the gas is competitively priced. They have a great drip coffee bar with a lot of options. This location is much fancier than what I grew up with in NJ, and can also make espresso drinks. They have 20 options for hot lattes, 20! You can also create your own. A fancy latte is a good price too, at less than $5.00! I added an extra shot of espresso and it was $5.39 for a 12 oz drink. If you haven't experienced the joy of a Wawa market, go check them out!
