I purchased one of their new units 3 months ago to be used as an office, and the sales went well. Once it was installed, the service was atrocious. The person in charge of service calls, SHARIE, is rude, and will tell you all the reasons she cannot attend to your needs, including that she is "too busy today." If she is having a good day, she will be civil, otherwise, you are out of luck.
Some things were broken during the move, and they send their repairman Alex who was the only reason I gave them one star. This man knows his stuff and is quick and professional. Unfortunately he no longer works there.
The new repair person is a nice man, who happens to be SHARIE's Brother, unfortunately not as knowledgeable of mobile homes inner workings, so the repair he did in the toilet TWICE has still not fixed the issue. He had a great attitude though.
I called on a Thursday to get the service call for the THIRD time on the still leaky toilet, only to be told by Sharie that she was "too busy paying invoices and could not stop because it would cause her to make mistakes" so she could not handle my service call. I am so done with her. Eight days later, no call back, not service repair man here, and even though I called again, neither Nancy nor Kevin (the manager) have returned my calls. I will add, Nancy has always been helpful, but it is probably they don't have a repairman that can do the job for now, so I don't want to throw her under the bus.
I would highly recommend that if you want a Clayton home, you drive 12 minutes toward Austin and get it from the Clayton outlet on Ben White. This one in Cedar Creek is Buyer Beware. Nice during the sale, but don't want to hear from you for service issues. read more
