His main scam involves quoting a price, then throughout…read morethe project offering to do some "extras" (i.e. offering to buy our backsplash or buy our sink and save us a little money), but then at the end of the project Mike had added all the things he had offered to buy to our final bill. A nice little side scam to run the bill up (he essentially admitted to this fraud with a shrug of his shoulders, daring us to do something about it). Not only did we deal with his above scam, but we had to deal with Mike exploding at my wife and I (shouting obscenities in front of our kids) upon catching one of his many mistakes. We are still working to clean up their mess. We've had to hire other contractors to finish the work Mike refused to complete because the project took way longer than he anticipated (even though it took too long because Mike likes to stand around and talk as opposed to working). Mike was completely in over his head in doing a kitchen remodel and we paid the price, as opposed to a respectable business person would have done the job right and taken a loss if they make a mistake in the bidding process. Do not hire this company.
