The staff is friendly enough and the space itself is cute, which is why I decided to give it another try after my first visit. During my first appointment, I had a Gel-X set done. The design turned out cute, but I was surprised that there was no prep beforehand- no cuticle care and no cleaning under my nails. For the price, I expected a bit more attention to detail. I decided to return for a second appointment and requested just a simple solid color. Unfortunately, this visit was much worse. During the service, the nail drill cut my cuticles multiple times (four, to be exact), and by the end of the appointment my nails were actively bleeding. My technician, John, didn't acknowledge it or offer anything to address it. When I mentioned it to the front desk, the person there was kind and offered $10 off the service and a bandage, which I appreciated. However, the experience itself was concerning. I also didn't see any tools come out of an autoclave or sterilization pouch during my visit. The location is convenient and the salon has a nice atmosphere, but based on these experiences I won't be returning. I do wish I had read more of the Yelp reviews before coming here.

I've had Gel-X before and they usually last me a solid two to three weeks. This was beyond disappointing. They clearly didn't prep or adhere the nails properly. I usually try to give businesses the benefit of the doubt, but all of the bad reviews are right. Save your money and go somewhere that knows what they're doing. I wouldn't come back here even for a fix.

They sent a 10% for my bday so i thought why not. They squeezed me in on thanksgiving day, at really late notice (less than 24 hours notice.) The girls who worked on my nails were so amazing and my nails look great. She was able to sculpt my nails with just plain coffin tips, seriously was so impressed with her acrylic skills. And they got everything done so fast which I appreciate as a homebody. The price even before my discount was VERY reasonable for the services received this visit. It's VERY clean, they don't have random weird polish brands they have the nice stuff, very friendly staff, and I'm really grateful that I gave it another chance bc they are soo close to my house and I've been going to nail techs in Long Beach and the valley which is just a pain.
