I specifically explained that I had gone to another salon before, but was unhappy with the results because the French tips were made too thick. I clearly stated that I wanted a thinner, more refined French tip. During my appointment, the nail technician called over three different employees to look at my nails. One of them looked at my nails, gave me a dirty look, and began speaking in Vietnamese. Although I do not speak Vietnamese, her tone and reaction were clearly unprofessional and made me feel uncomfortable. It sounded as though she was questioning why I was there, despite my explaining exactly what I wanted. When I asked if there was a problem, I was simply told that they were not confident they could achieve the look I wanted and therefore could not help me. I was shocked by the lack of professionalism and customer service. Had they communicated this during our text consultation, I would not have wasted my time driving to the salon and coming in for the appointment. I completely understand if a salon is unable to perform a specific service, but the way the situation was handled was disappointing and unprofessional. Customers should be treated with respect, regardless of whether the salon decides to take on the service requested. Will not be coming back.

I arrived about 10 minutes early for my appointment, but my service didn't begin until about 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment. I understand that delays can happen, but there was very little communication about the wait. My nail tech was quiet, which I didn't mind at all. However, when I asked questions throughout my appointment, she either didn't respond or didn't acknowledge them, which made the experience feel uncomfortable. I originally wanted acrylic nails, but I was persuaded to get Gel-X instead because I was told they would last longer. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience. I wasn't planning on leaving a review, but after only one week, several of my nails are already lifting. For a $120 service, I expected much better quality and durability. At this point, they feel comparable to press-on nails. Overall, I'm disappointed because I spent a lot of money expecting a long-lasting, professional set, especially for a special occasion.
