They just installed a new oil tank in our basement which turned out to be a very difficult install. They were professional, kept me informed every step of the way and did a fabulous job! They also removed an old 1000 gallon tank from my front yard. They did all the coordination with the town, removed the tank, filled in the hole and even put down grass seed and hay where their equipment left marks in the lawn. I could not be more pleased with their service. I highly recommend this local Somers company!!! Call Joe Tomasulo at 914-276-8690

I've used BNF's mold inspection services twice-- for my home and my sister's. Both inspectors (Jack…read moreand Jay) were professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. They thoroughly answered all of our questions, advised on the most effective testing methods, and explained what made sense to focus on and why. I came away from both visits with peace of mind, as the first principle of recovering from mold illness is getting out of the exposure. Thanks to BNF, I know both places are safe . And if I ever doubt it, they quickly answer follow-up questions. I also like their reports, which include a detailed explanation of each point of the inspection and remediation recommendations (and they can provide contacts for remediators (is that a word?) as well-- all excellently reviewed too). The report also includes general mold knowledge which is invaluable for a mold-sick person who seeks to avoid getting sick in the future! They are great advisers and industrial hygienists, grateful for BNF and for my N.D. who recommended them. The scheduling is quick and efficient as well. Kind and responsive front-office staff.

We hired Steven Silva with Estate Inspection Group at the recommendation of our realtor and…read morecouldn't be happier we did so! Let's dive in... Responsiveness (5/5): Steven and the team were quick to get us on the schedule (they had next day availability -- which is what we were looking for). Our realtor was shocked he was around last minute and encouraged us to jump at the opportunity to book him. They sent the contract and outline of the services to be rendered right away and we signed and returned it soon after. Payment (5/5): They accepted several forms of payment so it was very easy to address this. We ended up using Zelle which took mere seconds. Service (5/5): The inspection itself lasted a couple of hours. He went through all aspects of the property and pointed everything out. We've heard some inspectors can be a bit detail-lite in an effort to not hinder the sale transaction. This report was instead incredibly thorough. Steven was very transparent about the things he found, highlighting the areas of biggest concern while also explaining the significance of his broader findings especially compared to his standard inspection discoveries. Value (5/5): Given the time spent at the property and the high attention to detail in the final report this was worth every penny. We now have a solid to-do list with priority as to what we will get fixed and addressed -- and when. TL;DR: I would highly recommend Steven and the team and would use them again in a heartbeat on our next property inspection.
