Over the phone, he was able to answer all of my queries and gave me a quick run-down of all the different services they provide and an accurate quote for an inspection on the house. He was also able to answer all of my "what-if" questions and ease my nerves by giving me a step-by-step on what to expect. Although my window for inspection was only 7 days, he was also able to squeeze me in for an inspection and got me my report within 3 days! I'm super grateful for that. On the day of the inspection, Abe and Nick let me join in on the process and even encouraged me to take my own notes. Every step of the way was a learning process for me and I gained a ton of new knowledge on structural info, safety, energy saving tips and more on the house. Abe gave me a packet and some goodie bags. The retractable tape measure with sticky notes and pen is really cool. He also put in some candy if you're feeling peckish, some hand sanitizer, flashlight and bandaids--all super useful stuff. Folder includes info packets, and even a final walk through checklist. He'd really thought of everything. Overall, I highly recommend Abe. His inspection gave me valuable insight on the house, and most importantly I gained a peace of mind. It's definitely worth the price!

Even Town Building Department officials said he did not know what…read morehe was talking about.  Peter has no knowledge of town codes, or if he does he completely disregards them.  Even experts that he makes potential homeowners get to additionally come out to look at the property are left scratching their heads as to WHY he made the potential homeowner pay to have them come out...because, again, his big "issue" is a NON-ISSUE.  All the things he "found" wrong with the property were actually not wrong nor were they issues at all. He tries to frighten home buyers and actually impedes the home sale.  Get someone reputable.  If you are unsure of who that is, contact the local town building department and ask for a recommendation. This guy won't be on their list!  That is for sure. ABSOLUTELY THE WORST! I would have given him NO STARS if that was an option.

Ultimately, primarily for reasons outside of the ones that came up in inspection, we decided not to buy the home, and True View was able to give us partial refunds for the radon and lead tests we ordered as we would not be needing them. We will definitely be contacting Bill again for the next home we need to inspect, and I'll go in with a better eye for some of the things to look out for during our search.

He was friendly, courteous and provided quick turnaround of the report. I was particularly impressed with the use of the drone camera, Ray flew it around and performed a detailed inspection of the roof. He discovered a problem with the chimney cap that had been professionally installed a few weeks beforehand. He provided pictures that I forwarded to the chimney co and they came out the next day to resolve. Had this not been fixed it's likely the cap would eventually get blown off the chimney and cause damage, so I'm pretty happy to have averted a potential disaster.
