But the owner is a whole different story, we spent $100k on our landscaping project, he was very accomodating before the final payment was made, then right after, his whole attitude changed. There was never anybody answering the phone at the office, he never replied to phone messages I have left, when texted him with the requests, he said he doesn't like customers texting him and he blocked us from any further textings, funny thing is, he never complained about us calling and texting him before the final payment was made. The plantings have a one year warranty, the patios and stoneworks have 2 year warranty, but it was like pulling teeth when we requested him to replace the dead shrubs and repair some pavers. When he fianally sent someone "Bob" over to fix the problems today, he was rude and full of attitude, accusing us for being unreasonable. OUTRAGEOUS!!! $100k was not a small project, there are bound to be needing fine tunings and adjustments, that's what warranties are for! But according to the owner and this particular worker, the paying customer is considered too demanding to request for repairs on patios or replacement of dead plants. I will never use this company again!

It was reasonable and completely straightforward. He then showed me exactly what they would do, such as where they would put all the downspouts. An aside - before finding Jim/Orange Contractors, I had gotten 3 other estimates from big name gutter contractors nearby, but the were all so slimy - they would give a really high price, then offer "special discounts" to drop the price, then up-sell me on other crap, then negotiate with me, sometimes offering to drop huge $s if I'd sign right then on the spot. It was like buying a used car. Fast forward two weeks, Jim the boss returns with two workers, and they absolutely knock it out of the park. Old gutters removed, new seamless gutters in, clean up, all in one day. As they were cleaning up, I asked about leaf guards (something the other companies tried to push on my, costing as much or more than the gutters themselves). He said sure, we have those in the truck, and offered to add them for a few hundred, right then and there. They pulled the ladders back out and added leaf guards. Bam. Months later, no issues. The gutters are all pitched correctly. They look great. I know was only gutters, but this was the easiest contractor to work with. Jim, you're the man.

I was told that they would take care of it and it would be no problem. Initially, it looked great. However, about 6 months ago, a hole appeared. I tried contacting the company and was told they would repair it shortly when they had another job in my town. That was 4 months ago and I have repeatedly called and emailed them. I was promised on many occasions that they would do the repair, however no one ever showed up. As a result, the hole has gotten larger and has become a haven for chipmunks! This was back in the summer of 2021; I initially wrote a review on his business Facebook profile. However, he somehow managed to remove my review (along with several other 1 star reviews) and proceeded to block me. What I got: a massive and dangerous drop from my back door to my backyard, a completely unsupported central AC unit, a yard that looked more bald than a 90 year old man, and tons of remaining weeds. In addition to the $7,500 I paid him, I had to shell out thousands more to have someone build stairs as well as a support for the AC.
