I have been a loyal customer here for about five years, which is why this experience was so disappointing. During my most recent visit, I came in to have my builder gel removed and asked for gel on my natural nails. I specifically said I only wanted my nails cut down a little. Instead, they cut all of my nails completely off, which was not what I requested. After that, I was asked if I wanted a manicure and I politely said no. They then moved me to another chair. While I was sitting there, the man next to me looked at me and said, "Are you sure you don't want a manicure?" and laughed in my face. I felt embarrassed and disrespected. I go to a salon for a pedicure fairly regularly. Partly because I love the massage chair and I don't have anything like that at home, and partly because it's a form of self care and like many women, I don't pamper myself enough. This was my first visit to D. Classy Nails. I called ahead to make sure they could fit me in, and appreciated them accommodating me. Beyond that, I wasn't all that impressed. The place is a bit grungy; the shelving units could use some cleaning/sprucing up. One of the side tables on the chair where I was seated was covered in what appeared to be nail dust, and the other table was broken. While the tech who took care of me was nice, I am not that pleased with the outcome of my toenail trim nor the polish job, and one toenail is crooked. I did point that out but nothing was done to fix it, or appease me. My heels are as rough as they were when I arrived... I still left a gratuity, but I did not get my money's worth here and likely won't be back. read more

The first time I went with my mom, we had an appointment, we waited 2 hours while they let walk-ins go first on top of that 2 people were not doing anything, they gave us a '50' discount and only got 15$ off!! That same day I went home with the Matt I wanted but looks horrible! My fingers were swollen and red!! I went back to let them re do it and the lady( managers wife )was horribly RUDE!! I was still not happy with my nails but they looked a lot better(she told me I can't do the Matt again), not even 24hours later IT IS CHIPED!!!! And yes that is nail dust IN THE POLISH!!! They lied to me about ALL THE PRICES!!! And they lied about doing the powder acrylic (they have over 2 walls of it) DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!! I want to preface with with the fact that 90% of the staff is wonderful and very lovely. They know what they're doing and do a fantastic job while providing a kind customer experience. It would be a five star review if it weren't for this employee. The younger man who works as a technician was completely rude to my mother, who was getting a pedicure and nail polish change. The woman who did her pedicure was fantastic, however when she was switched to the young man for her nails, her experience shifted. He kept getting irritated with where she was placing her hands as he was doing them and was using a tone the entire time. He was extremely short with her and seemed annoyed throughout the whole polish change. Then, when my mom went to pay, she noticed a small chip in the polish on one nail. She politely pointed it out and he immediately said "well that's why you don't get regular polish. You should've gotten shellac," in a very smug manner. I was blown away by this response. After he did not offer to fix the nail, she kindly asked if he could touch it up, he repeated again that it was her fault for getting regular polish rather than gel! First of all, if you think regular polish is so bad, then why do you offer it as one of your services???? Not everyone can afford gel every time. It should not be an excuse for it to chip before you even walk out the door. Not to mention that that is just poor customer service and not the way you should speak to a paying customer who is being nothing but kind. Then, when it was actually time to pay, originally she said we would we paying together. However we quickly decided that it would be easier for tipping purposes since we had different technicians, to pay separately. My mom relayed this to him clearly, but he handed her the receipt and had put both of our services on her card. She explained that she had meant for him to please split out payments and instead of just correcting it immediately, he snidely said "well you never told me that so..." and sighed with a clearly annoyed expression. I drive 45 min to go to this salon because I liked them so much but this was by far the worst manicure experience I've ever had. my fingers are all crusty and it looks like I've been wearing the Polish for a week and it's been 5 min. there are bubbles in the Polish and streaks. I also maid for a manicure and other than slapping some lotion on my hand quickly there was not an actual manicure performed. she used a tool to scrape off my old polish aggressively which kind of hurt. I'm not one to write a bad review but this was an awful experience. when I called to tell them they said I could come back and have it fixed but I live 45 min away. read more

Usually love this place for being able to take walk ins and doing good quality manicures, but so many of the manicurists were sick and coughing today. My manicurist coughed on me several times during my manicure, and another staff member said that she has the flu while we were there. No screens between the staff member and customer either. Yikes!! I went to get my nails done with my friend not realizing it was homecoming season so it was abnormally busy. My nail artist was friendly and kind but my friend had a different experience. Her artist was rude during her whole service and just did what he wanted to do. He didn't ask her the shape she wanted and was really rough and tough on her nails. He was huffing and at one point played a game on his phone in the middle of the service. I just wanted a nice evening out with my friend but instead was disappointed in the service that was shown at this nail spa. read more

I just finished receiving a really poorly finished manicure from Classy Nails. I posted some photos of the finished manicure from the parking lot. You can see polish smeared on the sides and cuticle bits hanging. I'm not impressed. The only reason I gave a second star is that the greeter is nice and my manicurist (the second one as they switched out after the girl sliced my cuticle with the edge of the nail file) was interesting to talk to. If you need a finished look, and this if this is the standard, then this isn't the place to go. read more

I have been going here for over 10 years. Fabulous people owned a a fabulous couple (Chai & Vee). I have never been disappointed. Very clean, well organized and reasonably priced. It doesn't matter if you make an appointment or not, they don't know how to manage staff to people. Walk-ins are taken before people with appointments, leaving people who made appointments waiting 30+ minutes to be seen, while the walk-ins waited half of that. Second time in a row that I have made an appointment (The day before. Not a half hour before appointment time) with my mother for pedicures! Today I had the worst experience I've ever had with An. I went to this salon for couple times. Mostly I had Kia and she was nice. But I will definitely never go back! She was unfriendly and rough. During my pedicure she treated me like a peace of meat and not like a human. She was rough and hurted me. The result was not nice. I'm always leery going to a new nail place, but this is close to my house so I went to check it out. First, it's clean and nicely decorated without all of those weird posters that seem to be in most nail salons. The owner and all of the workers are very friendly and accommodating. I took my baby with me last time (I needed to get out of the house, and had nobody to watch her). She slept through my whole pedicure, but instead of having me move her to the manicure station, my nail technician brought over his supplies and did my manicure while I stayed in the ped chair so I didn't have to move her. Talk about service! Weekday mani/pedi is $35. I'm definitely going to be a repeat customer! read more

Fantastic place. Excellent service, pop, water, wine even. I get pink and white and I am VERY impressed. Everyone that works there seems to always be having a great time, speak terrific English and very professional. Salon is very modern and clean. I would highly recommend them. Really upset. I have lived in this area and gone to this nail salon for a few years now. However, my last experience there, they charged me two $5 upgrade service charges that I'm not quite sure what they were for and nor did they explain them very well. I walked out of there feeling ripped off, and don't plan on returning. One of my friends had a friend who recommended Classy nails but there is nothing Classy about them. I have never had a manicure or gel nails put on so I didn't know what to expect. When I walked in they told to choose a color and I did and then the girl was going to just polish my nails and I said no I need tips put on because I had jagged uneven nails, can't believe she could not see that. Then she was like ok and started putting tips on she did not push back my cuticles which were bad, did not trim them at all. I said I like round nails not square and she did square and well I went with it but the biggest problem is they are not even, I have the powder stuff under my nails and several nails still have the nail showing. And the girl kept stopping in the middle of doing my nails (not calling it a manicure) to text people, and the she stopped because her mom brought her lunch. This was supposed to be a treat for myself since the last couple of weeks I have been in and out of the hospital. Tomorrow I have to go back so they can fix them, then I will never return. read more
