She values her clients time and always lets you know ahead of time if she's running late. RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE/PHONE GREETER!!! Called them today around the time they just opened and the lady that answered the phone could not have any more enthusiasm coming out of her. It's my first time getting my nails done in YEARS and its for my wedding this coming weekend, every question i tried to get answers for IN well explained details of pricing, she sighed and sounded frustrated. Gave me an attitude EACH QUESTION asked, really negative voice tone that made me feel worthless as a new client...People like me that are first timers once again and are trying to get a good explanation of how things work in their shop, are not worth catering to I guess. Where do I begin ! If i could score places with negative numbers this place would get a -5. I work in the hospital that is right next door to this nail salon. I got off of work at 5p and I was tired and just wanted to go somewhere near by to get my nails done because I had a wedding to attend. The second I entered the salon I should have turned around and left. I think back and wonder why I stayed ! Lets begins with aesthetic. The place was filthy. Unbelievably gross. The carpet is dirty and old, the nail sations are old dirty desks and there is trash all over the place. I you'd like just go to this place for kicks and giggles to see that I am no exaggerating what so ever. While I was getting my nails done my nail technician got a bag of Frito's and started eating them ! I seriously couldn't believe what was happening it was so disgusting. She would shove the Frito's in her mouth and then grab my hands! I to this day can't believe my eyes. I actually thought I was being pranked. I had some nail polish on when I got there and she stuck my hand inside a jar that had nail polish remover that was dark brown. I wanted to vomit knowing that my hands where in very dirty nail polish remover YUCK !!! This place is a total health hazard and should be shut down. All the nail technicians were extremely unprofessional they would be yelling at each other, making fun of customers, and just being nasty in general. There was a group of girls that walked into the salon and wanted to get a pedicure and once they saw that they didn't have chairs for pedicures and instead use dirty buckets they let. The nail technicians would say things like " B*#&$s think they are to good to have pedicures in buckets" ! I could n't believe my ears ! I should have done the same thing as those girls and left immediately but I was stupid enough to stay. I would not want to pay any amount of money to get my feet soaked in a bucket! I mean I could do that at home and for free. Well back to my nail technician. I told her that I wanted white tip acrylic nails and I did not expect her to but on clear tips. She put on the clear tip and painted over it with white nails polish. My little sister could have done a better job! she literally just got the white nail polish and painted a straight line across my nail ! I was horrid! Oh and to top it off it took her 2 hours to do a horrible job! This place is a disaster and I would not suggest anyone, not even my worse enemy, to go to this salon. Very unprofessional. The staff is all women that are waaay older, they have inappropriate conversations and curse with children in the facility. Cheap prices but you get exactly what u pay for. I came back on yelp just to review this shop. SERIOUSLY!!! Turn around and go back if you are considering on visiting. If you're complaining on the appearance of this location you should know that their dusty counters and out dated dirty decor is honestly the best part that this place has to offer........ I came here because they literally where a ghost town and have a promo of $20 for a full set including nail art, and I couldn't make an appointment with my regular nail tech in time since I was leaving for vacation. So no wait, I walked right in! Excited! Now the excitement was killed when I entered, the staff was very rude. I got "helped" by Kim. She was touching her feet before she began clearing her station, no she didn't wash her hands when she began working on my hands. EW She didn't look at me, say hi, speak to me about what I wanted or color, NOTHING!!! I felt so disrespected. I hate making conversation when getting something done but at least be polite and acknowledge that you have someone paying you for your services! Respect your customer. As she ignored me for an hour and a half (took her this long to just apply tips and acrylic!!!!!) she spoke on the phone very loudly , having personal conversations!!! SHE WAS FOCUSING ON HER self INSTEAD OF HER JOB . Extremely unprofessional, rude, and unhygienic. Now 2 hours later she decides to "I got hurry up I gotta finish this set" and finally finished applying my nails... Now the nail art She refuses to do anything"oh I don't know how, I can try but I can't, oh no" and says things are stickers and 3d when it's clearly polish... Why offer nail art of you don't want to do it. My nails were SO UGLY!!! Oh and btw $20 literally gets you 2cm of length, anything longer starts at $30 and any other shape that's not a square is $30 LMAO I can go to every other nail got and get a full set with long nails and an almond shape for $20!!!! If you guys stop trying to charge for every single thing maybe you'd get clients in your door because that place is DEAD!!! The results look cheap, tacky, and ugly!!!!!as soon as I left I went to Sally's next door and got me a nail file, and nail polish remover. I still can't get over the fact that I was basically a burden to her because she was so busy talking on the phone . Honestly I feel that I shouldn't have paid for this service and I should of walked out instantly. Marilyn was amazing! She gave me tips to cure my dry cuticles from over washing due to my profession. I was helped in a timely manner and had a great conversation with her. Yes, the shop looks run down and out dated, but it was still sanitary. I am willing to look past that for the quality of Marilyn's work and the AMAZING price. Where to begin, I came to the shop as a walk in at 4pm and was told to come back another day, Even though it says walk in's welcome. So I came back the next day, As I went to sit down at the nail table I told the nail tech That I wanted Leppard print design with 3d nail art she tells me she cant paint Leppard print...(The easiest design to do), then I asked her if she could do the duck bill nails, she says No I cant do those, this shop sucks!!! So I proceed for he to do basic nails, She sanded my nails with all the same nail files that she used on every customer she had, then she cut my cuticle with the nail file and put nail glue on the cut. She never pushed up my cuticles so she could put the acrylic on my nails. It took this Lady 2 hours to apply the acrylic to my nails, and on top of it She had me hunched over the table with my fingers touching the other side of the table. When she got to the nail design She charged me 10.00 for 2 little 3d art bows that she bought and attached with the acrylic! My nails cost me 50.00 For some ugly design and bows that I am about to remove! Iv only had my nails 3 days and need a fill/ replace some nails. This is the most horrible /expensive/Unsanitary Place I have been too. If you are looking to get a Nail Fungus/ Nail infection Go here they will help you with it!
