She is very knowledgeable and experienced, talking you through her plans and understanding the exact vision you want for your hair. When I came to her my hair was extremely bleach damaged and dead, and since then, she has completely transformed my hair making it healthy and strong while also keeping it blonde. Called in for a hair appointment and was sent to voicemail I didn't hear back till a few days later. As they were out on vacation. Which I totally get. In my voicemail I mention text was good contact back. I guess that was my error. Natasha texted me back asking if I was still interested which I was. My hair was a mess. So she was able to get me in. Upon getting to the salon I was taken a back when I was greeted and seated by another lady. I think her name was Amy she was really nice. Talked me through the hair cut and asked what I was looking for I continued to think that maybe she was just shampooing. As I could see Natasha finishing with another client. Anyways at one point Natasha said bye to her coworker/employee and she left for the day. The person who cut my hair was very friendly. My hair so far looks great. She thinned it out nicely fixed whatever excuse for a cut I had before or lack of a cut for that matter. But at the end of the day I was expecting to see Natasha and that was not made very clearly. The other stylist mentioned Natasha was booked out pretty far in advance. So I guess none of that was transparent so I just have a sour taste from the whole experience. I went to Natasha. She was G-R-E-A-T! All the reviews about her are TRUE. I came to her with a picture of my hair and then I also explained to her what I wanted. She told me step by step what my hair would be going through, and what would look best on me (but still going with exactly with what I wanted). While you're waiting she asks you if you want something to drink including red or white wine and then she gives you some magazines to flip through. She did exactly what I wanted with my hair. I told her I wanted my hair blonde a light blonde but not an orange bronze blonde. She did just that. She did a lift, fill, highlights (which she suggested), and then my color. It took 3 hours, but it was well worth the wait. She explained step by step what she was doing and why she was doing it, it was very informative. The entire hair color plus cut came to $237.00. I tipped her $40 (I think that says a lot 'cause I don't tip people if I don't like their service. The most I've tipped someone was $10.) For everything she did to my hair and for the process it took, and on top of that the fact that she stayed longer than she had to said to me that she deserved it. My next stop here is to get my roots done, she said to come back in 6-weeks and although I'll be Austin, I'm gonna come back straight to her anyway! Because I believe she's worth the drive. So, for me to say that...she's THAT good. Trust me. So, with that said. Go to Natasha, I SUGGEST THAT YOU CALL her because she goes BY APPOINTMENT and from what I see she has a busy schedule that gets booked quite often. You could explain to her what you want to do with your hair and you can TRY to get an estimate of how much you'll spend but she'll tell you that she needs to SEE your hair to see what steps she's going to go through based on your hair type and length. Anyway, I highly recommend this place. The service is the best service I've ever had, you'll feel like a queen. And matches the service and quality. Ask for Natasha! read more

I LOVE Natasha. I found her through YELP because I used to go to this yuppy place by Highland Park. The French hair dressers (who are incredible) are very EXPENSIVE and somewhat unfriendly. ANYWAY, being Asian I usually go to people who know "asian" hair. But I took a leap of faith and booked an appt with Natasha over a year ago. Now I do not go anywhere else cause she is INCREDIBLE! I love how she just knows what to do. Kinda just follows your natural hair line and once she knows your personality or what you like to do (sports, outdoors, etc) she cuts accordingly. I visited this salon for the first time, not quite sure what I wanted to do with my fairly long curly hair. Natasha took me in charge and turned my uneven brassy dry frizzy mess into a glorious shiny dark wavy mane. I've never thought of going darker, but now that I am, I can't believe I haven't done this sooner. Natasha clearly has the experience to gauge what suits the ladies and has totally transformed my look. She gave me excellent advice about how to give back some love to my locks in between visits. Natasha has been doing my hair for a little over a year. She's grrrreat! I have long, thick hair which is cut with many layers and lots of texture. The cut is so good I can put my hair in a ponytail and when I take it down it falls right into place. When I'm ready for a change she has good suggestions, and she tells me if a cut will work well with my face shape and hair type and texture. She also colors and highlights my hair. I love to make little changes to my color everytime to keep my look fresh. I've gone from light to dark and everything in between, and it always looks silky and healthy. Her prices can't be beat! When I asked her to fix my color she made excuses but no apology and charged me more money. Natasha is a great hairstylist and listens to your needs. She talks to you the whole time and it's all genuine-- none of the "I have to try" type of conversations. I can tell that she loves her job, to the point that it doesn't feel like a "job" to her! :) she's a really rare hairstylist to find (especially amidst the plethora of hair salons here.) Natasha gave me an awesome cut and she is very personable. She saw me before her working hours Saturday morning just so she could fit me in. She is very accommodating and flexible, even rescheduling twice for me given my busy schedule. I recommend booking with her about 2 weeks in advance, just to be safe. She runs her business alone and only has so many hours in the day. Her cuts are pretty reasonable as well, starting at $45. I will definitely be back for my next cut, booking in advance obviously. Regarding the review below where someone was unable to get an appointment, the holidays are not the best time to try to get in and if so, you would have to book at least a month in advance if not more, considering this is just one woman cutting hair for all her existing clients plus new clients. Rating 1-star for a service you haven't tried yet doesn't make much sense. read more
