The other seats all still look perfect. Just the drivers side has cracks.

Repaired Headliner Better Than Original…read more My 1999 Mercedes SLK headliner had deteriorated over time and had dropped down. We consulted Top & Trim Upholstery in Troutdale regarding the headliner repair and liked what we saw and heard. We dropped the SLK by Top & Trim Upholstery midday on Monday, August 28th and received a call that it was ready midday on Wednesday, August 30th. Top & Trim Upholstery did an excellent job replacing the vinyl headliner with a custom-cut cloth headliner and it looks better than the original. They are a family-run business and have old-school pride in workmanship. We highly recommend them.

After thoroughly reading reviews, and getting multiple quotes, I decided to go with Mobile West for…read morewindow tinting on my wife's car. They were not the cheapest, nor were they the most expensive. After getting quoted $425 for the entire car with ceramic tint, we scheduled the appointment. I dropped the car off and was told it would take about half the day. I arrived back to pick it up after receiving a call about 4.5 hours later. I went inside and paid. They originally tried to charge me more than was quoted because of a total of 9 windows instead of 7 (they count the 6 inch triangles next to the front two) but Peter made it right, and only charged what he had quoted. I should've inspected the car before paying, because their were several issues with it. After inspecting it, I brought Peter out to take a look. There were several scratches up the sides of the windows, and what looked like rust particles under a few. I am aware that there would be bubbles for a few days while they dried, but this was not that. Peter told me that it was from the plastic tool that they use, and that it should go away in a few days, but if it didn't, to come back and they would redo them. I also noticed that from spraying the windows and the film, our car doors and rear seat had stains on them that were not previously there. I messaged Peter and was scheduled the next week to have them redo some of the windows and have the detail guys clean the fabrics. After bringing it back to them, they did replace the window tints that had the scratches, and I couldn't tell if they actually did detail it, because some of the liquid lines are still visible. Unfortunately, this $425 window tint is going to cost me more money because I'll have to take the car to a real detail shop to clean up. They also left scrap tint trash crumpled up on the floor of the back seat. Overall, I'm not sure how they do with car electronics, but I would personally not recommend them for window tinting.

While my initial experience fell short, Steve and the team did everything to make it right. Isn't…read morethat how all business should operate? Needing a real stereo system for my car, I investigated a few shops and decided on Mobile West. My challenge is that all of my music is on iTunes but my amartphone is Android. I don't want to Bluetooth music from my Android as it drains the battery. My goal was to use my iPod shuffle as the music source, which they said could be done. It can't. The speakers, while good, were located in an area that were blocked anytime I had my gym bag or groceries on the floor. After a few back and forths, I upgraded the stereo and put in additional speakers to give it surround sound and to avoid the side door situation. I have a tiny car, which makes it challenging. Mobile West gave me full credit for the previous equipment and the install, which I put towards the new configuration. Stereo system works, not with iPod shuffle, but with an old iPhone that I keep just for this purpose. Most important, the sound is fabulous! Several months later, I noticed the small microphone for voice commands had popped off, opening the sun visor had knocked it. I stopped by the other day and Steve greeted me at the door, remembering me and my car. After taking a look, he said the microphone should be in a different location away from the visor. Without hesitation, he said they would rewire and install a new microphone holder, no charge, since they stand by their work. I didn't have to bring my receipt or anything. He remembered me and that was good enough. I brought my car in the next morning, it took just 10 minutes to rewire to new location. Not only did it look better, it picks up my voice better. Thanks, Steve, I really appreciate you and your team!

I was a customer of the original owner of Xtreme Coatings who ACTUALLY developed the mixture which is a PHENOMENAL PRODUCT. Almost indestructible ... So much so, that in the old days, this sealant was sprayed on trucks for all the local fire departments before putting their new vehicles into service. This EXACT product is ONLY available in this single location in the US, yet the new owners have no idea as to the genesis of this formula. The new owners have no idea as to WHY it is soooo superior, and unlike any of the dozens of similar products that are heavily promoted. These new owners also co-mingle this outstanding product with another business, and it appears that the Xtreme Coatings legacy has suffered dramatically. By now they should recognize the "gift" obtained, and aggressively move forward, instead of diluting their time and effort hawking useless everyday products that can be purchased, anywhere/anytime. When I mentioned the original owner, inquiring as to how he was doing (As I hoped he has now happily enjoying retirement), one of the new owners specifically denied even remembering him, and both new owners were totally void of the creator's contribution, although they were now benefiting on their predecessor's coattails. Neither were even aware of the origination of this product which is an incredible marketing story of itself, created in "complete error", and the only possibility of these new owner's guaranteed future success in view of this economically challenged time. As previously mentioned, the original owner of THIS product discovered its final property as he was attempting to create another product. He did not wish to pursue the time promoting this amazing product, as his passion and time was always elsewhere. And in closing, re: ever-popular LineX mentioned by another reviewer ... An absolute joke by comparison. If you turn your vehicles in every few years, no big deal; Your LineX will survive. If you seriously USE your truck, or plan on keeping your truck in service until "the wheels fall off", beware! I have watched guys literally peeling LineX out of the back of their trucks within five years, revealing a rusted shell. The original Extreme Coatings product was sprayed onto the bed of my then-brand new 2002 GMC 2500HD Duramax Crewcab WORK TRUCK. After twenty-plus years and 241K miles, good luck anyone trying to get this stuff to separate from the skin of my truck! This business is a two day drive for me, and after my direct conversations with both "owners", in spite of "great job", "good price", I seriously question the quality of the service and application that I might receive. Honestly, Cornelius, OR, is just too far to drive to take a chance on new owners who have "failed" without me even crossing their threshold. If the formula has not been altered, they will miss they're Golden Egg opportunity. If my age weren't of significance, I'd swoop in and take over!
