The other seats all still look perfect. Just the drivers side has cracks.

They were not the cheapest, nor were they the most expensive. After getting quoted $425 for the entire car with ceramic tint, we scheduled the appointment. I dropped the car off and was told it would take about half the day. I arrived back to pick it up after receiving a call about 4.5 hours later. I went inside and paid. They originally tried to charge me more than was quoted because of a total of 9 windows instead of 7 (they count the 6 inch triangles next to the front two) but Peter made it right, and only charged what he had quoted. I should've inspected the car before paying, because their were several issues with it. After inspecting it, I brought Peter out to take a look. There were several scratches up the sides of the windows, and what looked like rust particles under a few. I am aware that there would be bubbles for a few days while they dried, but this was not that. Peter told me that it was from the plastic tool that they use, and that it should go away in a few days, but if it didn't, to come back and they would redo them. I also noticed that from spraying the windows and the film, our car doors and rear seat had stains on them that were not previously there. I messaged Peter and was scheduled the next week to have them redo some of the windows and have the detail guys clean the fabrics. After bringing it back to them, they did replace the window tints that had the scratches, and I couldn't tell if they actually did detail it, because some of the liquid lines are still visible. Unfortunately, this $425 window tint is going to cost me more money because I'll have to take the car to a real detail shop to clean up. They also left scrap tint trash crumpled up on the floor of the back seat. Overall, I'm not sure how they do with car electronics, but I would personally not recommend them for window tinting.

Needing a real stereo system for my car, I investigated a few shops and decided on Mobile West. My challenge is that all of my music is on iTunes but my amartphone is Android. I don't want to Bluetooth music from my Android as it drains the battery. My goal was to use my iPod shuffle as the music source, which they said could be done. It can't. The speakers, while good, were located in an area that were blocked anytime I had my gym bag or groceries on the floor. After a few back and forths, I upgraded the stereo and put in additional speakers to give it surround sound and to avoid the side door situation. I have a tiny car, which makes it challenging. Mobile West gave me full credit for the previous equipment and the install, which I put towards the new configuration. Stereo system works, not with iPod shuffle, but with an old iPhone that I keep just for this purpose. Most important, the sound is fabulous! Several months later, I noticed the small microphone for voice commands had popped off, opening the sun visor had knocked it. I stopped by the other day and Steve greeted me at the door, remembering me and my car. After taking a look, he said the microphone should be in a different location away from the visor. Without hesitation, he said they would rewire and install a new microphone holder, no charge, since they stand by their work. I didn't have to bring my receipt or anything. He remembered me and that was good enough. I brought my car in the next morning, it took just 10 minutes to rewire to new location. Not only did it look better, it picks up my voice better. The wax finish looked clean and even--no swirls or streaking--and gave the car a beautiful shine. Inside, everything looked refreshed without that greasy, overdone "Armor All" look. I also asked him to treat my rubber floor mats, which are about 10 years old, and they came out looking significantly newer. He offers both mobile service and drop-off options. I chose mobile, and he came to my place and spent about two hours on the car. He's friendly, detail-oriented, and clearly takes pride in his work. Pricing felt very fair for the quality and time spent. Overall, very satisfied.

Explained my situation on how I've tried every program out for OBD1 and explored a lot of maps to gather variety of times for these injectors, after comparing a basemap that hondata will auto generate vs what a professional tuner sold me I couldn't tell the difference! I called and spoke with Trent about my project to see if he, as the new owner, carried on with BBS refinishing. Trent confirmed that they do, so I set up a time to bring the rims and the car they were going on to him for a consultation/drop-off. Trent was just as nice in person as he was on the phone. He was really interested in the car as much as the rims. See photos. We talked about the process and specifically about the changes I wanted to make. I decided to go with the center color to match the lower body line color. While going through some BBS forum chats, I saw someone had done a similar color but added gold bolts. I called Trent and asked him if I could make the change from chrome to gold. Trent said it was no trouble; just order and send the bolts to the business. Shortly thereafter, I got a call from Trent that the rims were ready to be picked up. I took the car they were going on to pick them up so I could do a quick look to make sure what I had envisioned came through. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. The car draws attention, but most comments are about the rims. I would give Trent, Jim, and the rest of the crew a 6-star review for the skill and art they bring to refinishing. There is no hesitation from me where I will be taking my next set of rims for refinishing.

Jim means well, but I think he gets busy, and can't meet the lead-times he originally states. My daughter wanted the silver OEM wheels on her Chevy Cruze Premier repainted to a gloss black, so we brought them to FWO. The end result is exactly what we wanted, and it was a lot cheaper than trying to find the factory "Redline" wheels. The paint job is high quality, and it looks really nice. The areas for improvement include communication and lead-times. Initially we were given a completion date of 2 business days, and I told them they could take 3 if needed. When I called on the third day, they told me three rims were bent, and they needed to be straightened (for additional cost). I gave the go ahead, but I think they had our wheels confused with another project, because they never added on any other charges. The wheels & car ended up being ready for pick up on the sixth business day. As stated, the paint job is great, but the tires seemed haphazardly filled to random pressure levels, differing by a few PSI from corner to corner (that was an easy fix). They all hold air just fine, though; so no worries there. I would definitely recommend the work that Jim & FWO do, but just allow a little extra time for project completion.
