I had to find out for myself and luckily, during a two day trip to Columbia, was able to experience Franks for myself. It is everything you could ask for. Professional staff, all the ins and outs you'd want, and a great place for any male professional to get cleaned up. A must for graduate students, young professionals, and men in the Columbia area. (My hair was the problem the last time). Both times the same woman told us the price would be in upwards of $80 because of the type of hair we had instead of the regular prices listed on their website. For my hair, I saw an african American woman stylist and she was able to do my hair without further issue also at the price advertised. We both had been at this location two times thinking that maybe this woman was having a bad day the 1st time. But both times we received the same comments. I understand that Great Clips is a franchise type of business and that all of the stores are not the same. I don't want to misjudge people or call names but the entire experience with who we assume was the manager very disappointing. Apologies that neither of us got her name.
