He talked to us about how Virginia Furniture has been a family-owned business for over 40 years. He gave us enough space to look around but also gave us all the honest info we needed to make a decision. We decided on a sofa, loveseat, chair, and a 3-piece table set for $2300. It was a great deal. Delivery was scheduled for the next weekend, and they also haul our old furniture out. I even had my pick of a free item as a thank you for our purchase. I chose a silicone oven mitt. I will be coming back in the future, next time we need furniture.

The prices are sort of stuck in the same spot between antiques and thrift stores. They had a few items I was interested in, but not for the prices they were asking. They had a small section of electronics and I almost bought an old turntable. I think that if you are looking for fairly cheap furniture pieces, this would be a good place to go. It is probably worthwhile to stop here a couple of times to see if they have a good turnover on inventory or if it is the same stuff. It looks a little sketchy from the road and the only reason I didn't stay longer was due to it freezing inside of the building. I plan to stop here again and take a longer look.

I found several Asian pieces (wood carved, metal cast, crystal and pastel ceramic) that were tempting and priced to sell. Didn't pull the trigger because I needed more time to consider which would be best at home. But, still had a good time searching, and may give them a call about safe packaging for the two I am most attracted by.
