Exceptional. This was my second time dining at Classic Pizza in Tiverton, and it confirmed everything I thought the first time. I recently moved back to the area and stopped in a few weeks ago. The food was so good that I knew I had to come back and bring my son with me. I told him we had to order both pizza and subs because I wanted him to experience what impressed me the first time. From the first bite, he was smiling and clearly blown away. We eat out quite a bit, so it takes something special to really stand out--but Classic Pizza absolutely delivered. When we got home, he couldn't stop talking about it. He was already making plans with his friends and telling them how great the food was. That's the thing--adults can sometimes exaggerate a dining experience, but kids don't. When they love something, they're honest about it and excited to share it. The food was incredible, the staff was amazing, and the atmosphere made it feel like more than just grabbing a meal--it felt like an experience. Don't be surprised if you even get a hug from one of the owners on the way out. That's the kind of place this is. Everyone should experience this awesome pizzeria. We have been coming to Classic for years and enjoyed many of their delicious meals. For some reason one of our favorites is the always fresh and refreshing Mediterranean grilled chicken salad. Although the flavor of the chicken is very good, the house made dressing makes it even better. This salad is served with their homemade pita bread making it the perfect meal. The staff is always friendly and the food is always good. We will be back many more times in the years to come. read more

Saw they were the 'best pizza in Newport County' and gave them a shot. While I can't say they're the best, they're darn good. Good cheese and sauce, slightly greasy. Charges a fee for cards and doesn't have it posted at the register, so that was an pleasant surprise, and keeps them from getting 5 stars. read more

We placed an order by phone and picked up the order in person. Upon entering the restaurant it was quite obvious food had been burned because of the burnt fryolator smell that lingered in the air. I worked for years and am quite familiar with the odor. Unfortunately sone of the food we received was burnt. The eggplant on the pizza was so burnt it was black and so crispy it was similar to eggplant jerky if there was such a thing. Our 2 orders of buffalo wings were also completely disappointing because tasted like old fryolator oil. I called and asked to speak with the manager on duty to let her know of our issues. Kalli (?) was immediately very rude and told me she made my food herself and nothing was wrong with it. She said she covered the eggplant with cheese so it wouldn't burn and that they change the oil weekly so it was fine. She offered a partial credit on our order with a whole bunch of attitude to go with it. Clearly she had zero concern for customer satisfaction and no regard for making sure edible food left the kitchen. I see other reviews for rude customer service and now I totally understand why. The manager acted like she did not need or want my business. I'm sorry to say I will absolutely not be returning in the future despite there being so few options in town. Worst customer service ever! I ordered a white veggie pizza and no cheese and I didn't want eggplant. I added I was new in the neighborhood since I hadn't ordered from them before. When my husband brings home the pizza, I discovered there was cheese on it. I called them back and told them I hadn't wanted cheese and that's why I ordered the white pizza. The girl on the phone proceeded to argue that I didn't order it with "no cheese". Obviously there was a miscommunication and instead of just trying to have a positive resolution I got hung up on and had to call them back to ask how long it would take. I bring the wrong pizza back and think it's going to be a simple swap. The girl tells me she can't take the pizza back and when I ask what to do with it she said "whatever you want." And then I am told that I am going to be charged for the mistake! (Which was never told to me because I was HUNG UP ON). So, this proceeds into another "you never said no cheese" so i took my pizza to leave and the girl now tells me I'm stealing even though I left the other pizza behind. She follows me outside and tells me she is going to call the police because I am stealing! I told her this is ridiculous over a mistake over cheese! I reiterated that this was a simple miscommunication and then she proceeds to argue with me that I told them they were wrong! Meanwhile the whole time over the phone and in person she is telling me I said no cheese. I don't care about blame. I just wanted a simple pizza and to be treated with decency. She called me rude and I pointed out how rude they were by hanging up on me- which apparently was her sister. She then proceeds to argue that her sister was nice to me and hadn't hang up on me. She refused to look at my call log which showed I had to call back to ask about the wait. She also further claims they are the "nicest people" but I got nothing but hostility from the sister on the phone and the sister at the counter. I just wanted a freaking hot cheese-free pizza. Instead I got home to pizza I no longer could eat with the anxiety snd stressed that has given over a freaking $10 pizza. Piece of business advice- instead of arguing with a customer, INQUIRE why there was a problem in the first place. Not a terrible place for a delivery pizza, as our options are *quite* limited in Tiverton. Ordered 2 pizzas tonight. The pepperoni was ok. Nothing to write home about. Cold. The second was the Hawaiian. (Blah blah, never put fruit on a pizza. Bleh, suck it) The cheese and pizza was warm, but the pineapple was cold. Wasn't even remotely cooked. It's almost like they forgot they were supposed to put on the pineapple until it was ab to be delivered. Then they just threw it on top, closed the box, and slapped the driver on the ass. I actually really like this place. I've been ordering food here for 8 years, never had a problem. Their veggie pizza is awesome, eggplant grinder is good, fries are good, etc. I've never had a problem with rude employees, but if I did, I def wouldn't be back. The prices are average, it's just your average, reliable pizza place. I always do pick-up, never done delivery, so can't speak to the poor delivery service. I'll keep going back here! read more

Pizza is good , wing dings are great. Last two times I called for delivery the person who answered the phone at was very rude. She was there today at 5:30. She has answered the phone before and was just as rude. I asked how long for delivery she said I have no idea we are busy. When I asked her name she hung up on me. This happened twice on a Friday night. The food was finally delivered 1.5 hours later and was cold. Classic Pizza is very allergy friendly and has the best gluten free crust around. Their staff is patient/super nice and their kitchen is accommodating. I've never had that type of service from famous pizza. Highly recommend Classic especially those with food allergies. read more

This is our go to place in Tiverton! When staying in Tiverton, we always try to go somewhere else and get a sandwich or snack and end up being disappointed. We always go back to Classic Pizza. Why? Satisfaction guaranteed! I'm a big fan of the Veggie Pizza. It is LOADED with veggies. Once your hot pizza is handed over, you'll find yourself gnawing down on eggplant, broccoli, green peppers, spinach, black olives, onions and tomatoes. There might be a few other things in there I'm forgetting. I'm also a fan of the Greek Salad. You'll get a ton of lettuce, Greek olives, feta cheese and some pita bread. The greek dressing is delicious. We always get take out and our order is always ready in 15-20 minutes. I don't think we've had to wait much longer. Although we've never ordered in peak times. Classic Pizza is always reliable. I'll continue going back. read more

So months ago, saw that these folks are open until 11pm on Fridays. Showed up at 10:08pm. Was immediately told "you can only get fried items or pizza." Girlfriend asks me "why?" Because they have already cleaned the grill so they can bolt out the door at 11pm. "Why?" I asked them? They said "because we already cleaned the grill." (They left out the part about bolting at 11pm) Steak and cheeses not bad, but cheese goes onto roll with lettuce and tomato (makes grill easier to clean, but tastes worse) They bread their own chicken for Chicken Parm, and Chivken subs. For Chicken Tenders, they use "freezer bag." The other day, I said I'd pay extra for the chicken (tenders) to be breaded fresh. They did so, priced it right, and see? The place still stands. However, to get to $10 (min for delivery) I've always asked places for a 'side of meatballs.' For first time in my life, my meatballs arrived WITHOUT MARINARA SAUCE (been ordering take out/deliveries since 1982...for 35 yrs, the ONLY place to send me two meatballs in a container...with NO sauce). Also, beware, subs are toasted if not told otherwise. (Places that toast bread do not (usually, in my opinion) get fresh bread orders every day) read more

Very rude people. Specially a lady that answers the phone. They treat you like you need them not the other way around. this place is ight. it isn't horrible, it isn't great, it's A-OK. staff is pretty nice but not gonna hug you or anything. Parking lot is big enough. Gotten a couple things here...salad, stuffed shells, calzones. everything pretty good, pretty decently priced but won't blow you away.
