18 Threads - Practice xl jersey vs new games day jersey. Same size.

    18 Threads

Update- best customer service ever!! I could not believe how…read moreeasy they were to work with and so quick to rectify the problem. We even spoke about doing try on sizing before the group orders so we know the exact sizing. Easy fix and quick response. I highly recommend working with companies like this that care! We've used 18 Threads for our soccer team jerseys, and the sizing is completely inconsistent. The first batch we ordered came in super large, but after a year they finally fit our kids well. So this season we ordered the exact same sizes, expecting them to be the same. Instead, the new jerseys are way too tight -- the neck hole is tiny, the arms are hard to get into, and the length is so short they're practically belly shirts. What makes it worse is that when compared to the exact same size from our old jerseys, they are completely different. Youth Large should fit 12-14 and Youth XL should fit 14-16, but the new jerseys are nowhere close. Instead, Youth Large fits more like an 8-10, and Youth XL like a 10-12. Even our practice jerseys -- which normally run smaller than game day jerseys -- are still larger than these new cuts. For reference, the white photo shows a Youth XL practice jersey compared to the current game day jersey, and the green-on-green photo shows a Youth Large old game day jersey compared to the new Youth Large game day jersey. The fabric is fine, but the sizing is so unreliable that it feels like a total waste of money since our kids can't even use them.

A huge renovation was in store to get The HEDGE to the space it currently is. The owner, Julie, is awesome! Super cool, laid back, and talented. She can talk your ear off about anything and everything in the printing world. I knew nothing when I walked through the door and now I have a way better understanding of the printing industry. She specializes in custom print items and fine art. The shop offers classes and workshops or is a beautiful space for an event. The front area is full of local made good and hosts a rotating art show. SO cool!! Looking for a special touch for your special day? Julie creates custom, small-batch like invites, saves the dates, etc. Her work is awesome and so unique! Check out her shop! Whether you are a printmaking enthusiast or in the neighborhood on your Saturday afternoon stroll.

Julie's machines, the building and her work are all shining jewels for our city. Take time to stop into this shop and check out her work, along with fine work from other local artists. You're sure to find a gift for that special person, or a treasure of your own. If you get a chance, and she can make the time, have Julie talk with you about her work and the antique machines that the work is created on. You'll instantly see the passion she has about what she does. Truly a blessing to have someone so knowledgeable in the craft of print making want to continue to keep these 100+ year old mechanical wonders purring (or in this case clickity, clank, clunking).
