Ridiculous amounts of mail from a company I've ever heard of.
    Robert A.

Out of the blue started spamming the heck out of my E-Mail. Never heard of this company before let alone done business with them and I've got 8 E-Mails from them in the last day and a half. Don't know if some other company sold my E-Mail address or if these guys either hacked another company or paid someone who did. In any case I don't do business with dirty spammers.

This barrel supposedly passed a 'visual inspection'

Used to be a happy shopper with these guys until I ordered a new barrel for my AR-10 build that showed up USED! Spent time cleaning it up and then emailed them within an hour of delivery to let them know the problem and their answer was 'Maybe they test fired it'. I pointed out there's no mention of test firing in their listing and they refused to send me a new one and directed me to the manufacturer to get a replacement. Manufacturer turned out to be Bear Creek Arms, which has a '1-14 business day' turnaround on just emailing them, which turned this whole experience into over a month for me to get the NEW barrel I ordered in my hands. Customer service rep Jay couldn't care less that I had a bad experience, saying this is how they deal with 'warranty issues'. By just shuffling you off to another company to handle their problems. Super disappointed in these guys that I used to shop with regularly. They also have been deleting my bad reviews on their website, warning other people of this terrible customer service trap. Beware ordering from them unless you want to burn money on used products and horrible customer service!

    Missing plunger

I purchased a surplus Beretta 92S several months ago. Unfortunately, I was unable to get out to the range until recently. The pistol would not fire. It is missing its firing pin plunger. When I called customer service they were unable to help. At all. I understand that it was beyond the return window, ( I don't want to return it) but an offer to provide the missing part or a credit on my next purchase would have gone a long way. Found the part. $4.37. For that, they lost a customer.

I ordered a ZPAP from them, and was a little Hesitant from the other reviews they have but I gave them a shot. Granted, it did take about two weeks to get the firearm delivered, it came in perfect condition and wasn't THAT long. By my standards, they did a good job and were easy to reach via email. If you're getting a new firearm from them, you should have nooo problem. Keep up the good work Classic

Romanian TTC Tokarev: Condition as advertised, this is right out of the package.

I have bought a number of military surplus firearms from Classic Firearms over the past 6 years. Honestly, its hit and miss with them on quality; what they publish and describe in their ADs and website have never hit the mark with the exception of the Romanian TTC Tokarev Pistol - 7.62x25 I bought in March of 2020, it was everything they advertised it would be. But it was the exception. Everything else I have have bought has not even been close to the way it was described. The worst being the Chinese SKS Type 56 Rifle - Original Military Turn In Rifles. 7.62x39 Semi-Auto W /Spike Bayonet I bought April 2020 it was no more then Junk, not even sure it is shootable. My four star is based on 5 firearm and ammunition purchases. (My reason for the 4 star rating) As far as their staff they are 5 STARS in my book I could not ask to work with a better bunch of people especially Suzette. Even during this COVID situation they have been epic.

A view inside the bore with a borescope

I purchased an enfield , the advertised it as follows on their site- " Classic Firearms always tries to be brutally honest when describing the condition of our surplus rifles. In regards to these carbines, they have all been dry fire function tested to ensure that they are complete and operable, but the cosmetic conditions vary greatly from one rifle to another. The best way to describe them as a lot is probably this. They are all in good condition mechanically and should feed, function, and fire with no issues at all. Cosmetically, now that is a different story. Some have quite a lot of original bluing left on them, while some have very little blue. I would say the average is around 60 %. Stocks are all solid ( meaning not broken ), but they all have the typical dent, dings, gouges, etc, that you can commonly expect of surplus. Some may also have some small (non-function inhibiting) cracks in the wood. Of course, you may also encounter trench art on some of these rifles, and there will be a certain amount of dirt and grime as they are in turn in condition. Having said all of that, don't let our brutally honest description of these fool you. They are highly collectible and to me the most shooter-friendly version of all of the Enfield rifles." The one I recieved is not functional, not complete. Definitely NOT complete and operable, and definitly NOT in good condition mechanically. It has very deep rust and pitting, the bore is swelled and it is unsafe to shoot. if you tried to shoot this it would probably explode. I left a review on their website with these pictures, and they deleted the review because they don't want the truth to be shown. They claim to be Christian and to "live by the golden rule" they apparantly do not. I asked for an exchange for an enfield resembling their product description, or to return the item for a refund. They refused and would only refund the "hand select" fee. They are liars and cheats.

Let me preface my review by saying I am not just a disgruntled customer I am also a profesional GUNSMITH and certified FIREARMS APPRAISER, so I certainly have a leg to stand on here. I purchased a TTC tokarev that was advertised (VERY GOOD TO EXCELLENT) and was at best a low good rating, I sent photo's before sending the gun back which pointed out all the flaws in the gun and why it did not live up to the rating. When I received my refund CLASSIC FIREARMS kept the shipping fee, tax and insurance fee stating that the gun was as advertised. either the staff cannot grade guns properly or they just do not care who they rip off. I purchased another from them which was not as bad as the first, but not as advertised. The most frustrating part is no one in authority will call or e mail me to resolve this. This also is not the first time have had a problem with a used gun from them, I once was sent a gun with a broken slide after paying extra for hand select. The bottom line is CLASSIC FIREARMS customer service stinks, and if you order a used gun from them you will be lucky to get what you paid for. PS They are reluctant to post my review with photo's, my guess is they do not want anyone to see the way they treat customers! RLN GUNSMITHING

I ordered a Archangel AK series OPFOR forend and this is what I received.

I especially appreciated how serious they were in covering the law and individual responsibility when it comes to carrying a concealed weapon. Exactly how it should be. We were finger printed, filled out the necessary forms and applications and those of us who passed the written test and the range session were given our graduation certificate along with an envelope containing all we needed to submit to the state. Just had to write the check and send it in. They offer a wide variety of courses so check them out. Why this ended up as a three-star rating is that although their training programs are super, their store offers a limited selection of weapons, accessories and ammunition. A lot of that is economy dependent and might improve when the economy does. They do have weapon repair services and I did have a sight replaced with quick turn around.

I had my daughter with me (don't ask) and they had a ball with her. Plus they helped me get a gun that was suited for me and not just one i picked because I liked it. They are very knowledgeable and helpful in there. Plus they offer classes so if you are a rookie they can help you with that as well. Everything you need they have and if they don't have it I'm sure they could order it for you. They also can change the color of your gun there and adjust various settings on your gun. This place is awesome and they will continue to get my business! Love them:)

Practical Arms instructor/owner made the 8 hr mandatory class interesting. Although I thought i was going to fall asleep, the class was up beat, educational and interactive.
