Frank had some great ideas and educated us on brands to look at and which to steer clear of. We changed some of the concepts of the kitchen design and even had to bump out a wall to accommodate the new AC heat pump unit. Frank just went with the flow. I really liked the preciseness of his work and how he always left our house clean when he finished for the day. Frank gave us a few special touch ideas that really made the project pop. Both companies, in writing, stated that the flooring "wasn't installed correctly". We ended up having to REMOVE the entire flooring and had a competent installer reinstall the entire floor. GH Flooring would not admit to the mistake or correct the mistake. Their response was " its close enough". We recommend to stay away from them. If on the off chance they cause damage to your home, (which they did in our home and refused to take responsibility) or install the flooring incorrectly, they won't correct it. Completely unprofessional and unworthy. Please take heed of our warning and just go with a real professional installer. Do yourself a favor and avoid the expense and hassle of having to do your floor twice.

BUYER BEWARE: I hired David Carr to build for 3 contracts…read more The Deck: I initially hired Mr. Carr to build me a deck. I was delayed in getting a permit to move in my new house due to continued problems with the back deck. The steps had to be torn apart and re-done because they were not built to code. First State Inspections turned it down several more times until everything was corrected (step height, railing spacing, etc). After some time, I was finally given a permit to move in; however, I was told I was not allowed to use the back deck exit, only the front entrance. He took apart the railings while he was rebuilding the steps and piled them up in the dirt in the back yard. It was a YEAR before he completed the railings. When he finally reinstalled them, they were all scratched up and stained from the dirt and stones. He would not replace them. He put the vinyl covered posts back up with new screw holes and the old holes he filled in with putty. Unbelievable!! I insisted they all be changed. He did change the vinyl post, but would not replace the scratched and stained railings. A board on the steps was not screwed back down. I did not catch this because the screw holes were there from his first attempt at building the steps. Someone fell going up the steps when the board came loose. I was lucky I wasn't sued. When he first started on my deck, it looked nice, so I hired him to build the front porch. Looking back, I wish I had waited to see this project through first because I would NOT have hired him for anything else. I kept all paperwork, including contracts, permits, inspection failures, BBB complaints, Attorney General's complaint, and a complaint with the Delaware Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Trade Practices Act.
