I came here just to see the reviews and was surprised to find that people had a similar experience to me! I have taken a few clothing items to them and everything was ok until I took a pair of pants to them that fit me like a glove except for the length. I only asked for a hem. I pick them up and length looked fine so I took them home. A couple of days later, I am packing for my trip and tried on the pants to see them with my outfit. To my surprise they were suddenly SO BIG on my waist, literally falling off my butt! Like I said before, these pants fit me like a glove! after closely examining my pants to see if they have been tampered with, I noticed a defect that wasn't there (these were brand new from Lulus, never warn) and also noticed that they did not have a clasp anymore. I suddenly realized these probably aren't even my pants! I went in pleasant and told him I just came Friday to pick up the pants and I just got a hem done. I told him I don't know whose pants these are but they aren't mine and I need my pants because I'm leaving on a flight Thursday morning. Like other people said, he became rude. Told me they're my pants and it's not his fault they're too big. Why would I go to get alterations and only get the hem when the pants are falling down? I found this great alteration place called Image Cleaners in Mohegan Lake. The lady there was literally an angel! even though the tailor had left for the day, she called her at home and she agreed to come in early and have them done by tomorrow evening. Even though they are someone else's pants, they are a similar color to what I needed for an event. They are even going to try to fix the damage on them. Talk about customer service! i will never be returning to Classic Cleaners. read more

Finding a good laundry service wasn't easy. I use them to dry clean my dress shirts, and the occasional suit/dress. The man that works here literally runs in the back to find my dress shirts as I pull up. They have quick service, and less than $2 per shirt is a great price. I have been giving them my business for 15 years however, the first time I had an issue with the dry cleaning of my Pottery Barn curtains- the disrespect shown to me my Andy was shocking. The curtains shrank 8 inches when I attempted to rehang them. I went back and the seamstress told me she was going to "stretch" them back to the original length. With hesitation, I said OK - had to return 2 more times at which point she quickly measured...and said they were fine. I asked her if she had let down the hem. She said no and I feel like I was rushed out. Took them home and found they were not as she measured, the hem had been taken all the way down and they were discolored because she must of used a solvent to try and remove the hem demarcation. I called Andy back and he said "I don't want to think about these curtains anymore" RUDE is an understatement. He made no effort to resolve the situation so small claims court here I come! read more

WOW I am sooo impressed with this place. I've tried just about all the places in the area and wasn't thrilled with any of them. My mom takes her clothes here and she said they're very nice and they do an excellent job. I took a bunch of my items here and I also needed to repair a very nice button down shirt that had shredded tears at the seams - not that simple of a fix. I wasn't sure they would be able to do it but I figured what have I got to lose? I hadn't worn the shirt in years anyway because of the rips. The gentleman at the front warned me that you might be able to see the repairs but I told him to go ahead and try to fix it anyway. I just got my stuff back and I'm truly blown away. All my items are in perfect condition and spotless and my shirt! I can't even tell where the rips were and it looks ABSOLUTELY FLAWLESS. I HIGHLY recommend this place! I will definitely be returning to this place again and again! Moms are always right. Classic Cleaners is located next to the JV Post Office in the same plaza as JV Hot Bagels. read more
