I was so impressed with Ann and her boarding facility. Right off the bat I could tell I was at the perfect place. Clean, organized, plenty of room for the dogs including a huge fenced in are , in the country and clean kennels to accommodate all size of pets. So impressed. Ann gave me a tour and didn't rush me, she also listened about what concerns I might have asay a first time client with my rescue dog. As you know our pets are considered family, so I could tell from talking to Ann that she was very knowledgeable about rescue animals which was truly important to me and my pet. This is not a Petsmart type of store, so you won't find leashes and a million unnecessary toys. They do, however, have some high quality dog and cat foods (Taste of the Wild, Canidae, etc). Homam's also has a great selection of bird food and bird feeders. You can even buy live meal worms here. They are also dog-friendly, so all well-behaved pups are welcome to stroll on in and get some free petting in. We can always use more dog-friendly businesses! It's also a nice source of dog-related activities and services when you check out their bulletin board. Fun Nose Work and Agility classes, anyone? The only reason I didn't give the a full 5 stars is because I do wish they had a some more premium dog foods available (e.g., Blue Buffalo, Innova, Evo) and preferably in the 5-6lb bags, too ("trial size" ). Otherwise, I greatly enjoy having this store around. Check it out for yourself!
