is every automotive repair business in my home town denison, texas shady.??..its sad to say, but…read morewhen you have too many bad repair shops it makes it hard for the honest shops to make it...maybe its not the shop just a untrained employe...what would you get out of loosening the trans bolt .or not putting plug back..they don't do trans rebuilds?just to fix basic automotive issues !!..people must just take it and say the next guy will say somthn ....wtf?? a female friend takes her caddillac to cambels garage she first had to make a appointment a month out before he could get to it.( what a waist of time)......i thought that was odd because not a single car was outside,  like in line to be "looked at".... ok before the car was taken to cambels garage i ran my diagnostic scanner and it had a misfire in #5 ...spark plug or coil pk issue..and code for pcv system stopped up...these are the only 2 codes until i take to cambels...she takes her car to him...he says the motors blown??...(yet she drove it home) and that sombody broke a spark plug and it fell in the motor???? what? there was no broken plug when she left....the plugs are at the back with just a couple inches to work with ....its not a easy task ....so not being equiped with the tools.. i recomend cambels when the car came back its pulling codes p0141 p... p 0122 p0300 p0300 p.  the car is way worse than when she took it. how anything could have "fell in the motor"?.......broke a plug and instead of fixing it he put it back like somone els did it didnt even hook up the #5 coil pack....just said screw it motors blown !?..broke the plug and somethin dropped into the cylinder......and let her drive it home.. they was thinkin she was some dumb old lady.... we knew what was wrong and nobody but whoever tried to get the plug out broke the plug and the coil pack then jus layed it back like it hasnt been touched. next time just say you screwed it up...you dont say the motors blown n let her drive off. when one of your employees or you permanently screw sombodys motor up take responsibility for your incompetence...i wouldnt recomend this place to fix a anything.... they will screw your car up n lie about doing any of the damage i should put a reverse mechanics lien against the shop im sure they do alot of that if somone was to audit

After Drew picked up my vehicle on April 1st 2026 he had it towed to his shop which he was supposed to do repairs on my vehicle.. he had stated that since the parts was going to be so much we can go through Sunbit to make payment. So we went through Sunbit I thought everything was going good and then all of a sudden Drew started ghosting me! I had called and text called and text with no response. When I did finally get in contact with Drew he told me that the city had shut him down and that they could not work on vehicles until they went to court. I asked him if they do not get to open back up what will he do with my vehicle he told me that he would move my vehicle and work on it somewhere else since they are mobile mechanics I stated okay fine. Days go by hitting Drew up and he does not respond so now I'm asking him since you are basically ignoring me and refusing to do my car and I'm not hearing back from you can you please give me a refund of my money and put my car back together no response from Drew. I had ended up calling the city and the police on Drew which both of them told me that this is not the first time he has done this to somebody and for me to press charges on him. Officer McClaren told me he would go speak to Drew and let him know to put my car back together so I can get it towed either to another shop or home and for him to let me know when he did it. I never heard from drew. I ended up texting him asking him has he fixed my car and put everything back together the way it originally was when he got it..there was so many parts missing from my car when I went to go check on my car during the time he was ghosting me! When I pulled up to his shop (I have videos to prove it) there was so many things missing from my car..I popped the hood and the whole inside of my car was missing the black BMW transfer case,(the thing that covers the engine)the engine everything was gone! There was still some tools connected to my vehicle that Drew was using to take the car apart..when I popped my trunk the housing or the cover that covers the battery that's in the trunk was gone too! I don't know why they was in my trunk I had asked Drew has he replaced and put my car together with all the original pieces and back together like how it was given to him he never responded to that!! When he did finally respond all he said was "it's been put back together, I don't have your number anymore!" So I asked him what's up with all the pieces that was missing from the car. No response! I asked him was my key still stuck in my car because he had the keys stuck in the vehicle he stayed that the key was stuck in there because the battery was dead so I asked him did you put the housing back over the battery no response! I also wrote him and asked him to refund me my money since he lied to the cops and told officer McClaren that he told me he needed more money so I told him to stop working on the vehicle which is a lie! I also told him that he told the officer that he was going to refund me my money I was out over $1,000. He had lied to Sunbit and told them he didn't owe me a refund cause the services had been completed..I had to show all of our text message thread and the police report in order to get my money back but now my credit is messed up due to this! Now I'm out of a car and time! I'm getting my car towed home and hopefully all my pieces will be there I'm going today to check and see but I highly doubt it's how I gave it to him since he ignored me when I asked him that! Horrible service and customer service! He's a scammer and now I'm thinking he wanted to just steal the parts to my car and sell them, cause why ignore me when you've had my car for months?? Why ignore certain questions asked?? It's giving scammer and I would advise not to work with Drew at all!! Initially, I had two other mechanics look at my car and one wanted $2,700 just for the AC/heat repair! Mine needed that and balljoints & arms replaced + few more issues so the total spent was $5K but was very fair and included a 24 month or 24K miles warranty on the work completed. JCA are the first mechanics I've ever dealt with that included in the diagnosis, mphotos of every issue + returned the old parts to me. As it turns out, the previous mechanic in another state didn't perform most of the work of which I paid over $2500; he hasn't returned my four phone calls and three email inquiries for copies of my invoices, most of which were paid by cash. . .things that make ya go "hmmmm"....
