I had to drive my daughter car 2018 Honda civic for a few days, I noticed that her cars plastic undercarriage had come undone. it was dragging and making a noise every time we droved it. it was late Saturday and started looking for oil shops that can do the oil change and fix the plastic by using zip ties or fasteners. I still had 60% left on my oil before changing it but I just didn't want to go into shop with just fixing the plastic. Gentlemen greeted me and told me to wait while they finished with other customers. After a few minutes he came and took the vehicle into the bay. I sat and waited in the waiting room for a few minutes. He came back and explain I still had 60% of oil life and that he didn't recommend I change my oil yet. Be sure to double check your receipt before you leave, make sure the miles are correct and that the total price is what was quoted, not saying they are doing anything shady but mistakes can happen at a busy shop, they actually put my cars mileage 30000 miles less than what it is. If I have a warranty issue that could be a bad thing, but they easily and efficiently corrected it with no problem. If I was a previous customer it would have been obvious. Again great guys working hard and fast to get you on the road with great tires. Don't forget to double check your pressures, my car calls for 33 front and 30 rear, I left with 36 front and 44 rear. No stars deducted because they are a great local tire shop that really wants to do right by the customer.

So we went through Sunbit I thought everything was going good and then all of a sudden Drew started ghosting me! I had called and text called and text with no response. When I did finally get in contact with Drew he told me that the city had shut him down and that they could not work on vehicles until they went to court. I asked him if they do not get to open back up what will he do with my vehicle he told me that he would move my vehicle and work on it somewhere else since they are mobile mechanics I stated okay fine. Days go by hitting Drew up and he does not respond so now I'm asking him since you are basically ignoring me and refusing to do my car and I'm not hearing back from you can you please give me a refund of my money and put my car back together no response from Drew. I had ended up calling the city and the police on Drew which both of them told me that this is not the first time he has done this to somebody and for me to press charges on him. Officer McClaren told me he would go speak to Drew and let him know to put my car back together so I can get it towed either to another shop or home and for him to let me know when he did it. I never heard from drew. I ended up texting him asking him has he fixed my car and put everything back together the way it originally was when he got it..there was so many parts missing from my car when I went to go check on my car during the time he was ghosting me! When I pulled up to his shop (I have videos to prove it) there was so many things missing from my car..I popped the hood and the whole inside of my car was missing the black BMW transfer case,(the thing that covers the engine)the engine everything was gone! There was still some tools connected to my vehicle that Drew was using to take the car apart..when I popped my trunk the housing or the cover that covers the battery that's in the trunk was gone too! I don't know why they was in my trunk I had asked Drew has he replaced and put my car together with all the original pieces and back together like how it was given to him he never responded to that!! When he did finally respond all he said was "it's been put back together, I don't have your number anymore!" So I asked him what's up with all the pieces that was missing from the car. No response! I asked him was my key still stuck in my car because he had the keys stuck in the vehicle he stayed that the key was stuck in there because the battery was dead so I asked him did you put the housing back over the battery no response! I also wrote him and asked him to refund me my money since he lied to the cops and told officer McClaren that he told me he needed more money so I told him to stop working on the vehicle which is a lie! I also told him that he told the officer that he was going to refund me my money I was out over $1,000. He had lied to Sunbit and told them he didn't owe me a refund cause the services had been completed..I had to show all of our text message thread and the police report in order to get my money back but now my credit is messed up due to this! Now I'm out of a car and time! I'm getting my car towed home and hopefully all my pieces will be there I'm going today to check and see but I highly doubt it's how I gave it to him since he ignored me when I asked him that! Horrible service and customer service! He's a scammer and now I'm thinking he wanted to just steal the parts to my car and sell them, cause why ignore me when you've had my car for months?? Initially, I had two other mechanics look at my car and one wanted $2,700 just for the AC/heat repair! Mine needed that and balljoints & arms replaced + few more issues so the total spent was $5K but was very fair and included a 24 month or 24K miles warranty on the work completed. JCA are the first mechanics I've ever dealt with that included in the diagnosis, mphotos of every issue + returned the old parts to me. As it turns out, the previous mechanic in another state didn't perform most of the work of which I paid over $2500; he hasn't returned my four phone calls and three email inquiries for copies of my invoices, most of which were paid by cash. . .things that make ya go "hmmmm".... Good, courteous and quick service but very high parts prices…read more I recently hepled out a friend by paying an invoice for car repair at John Chaks auto but was suprised at the amount considering the work that was done. On reviewing the bill I found that the reason for the high bill was the extremely high cost of parts even though all the parts used were after-market, not oem. They charged $984 for two control arms which can be purchased retail for as low as $60 and up to $140 retail, and $178 for 4 NGK spark plugs which retail between $7 and $10 each. (Prices from Rock Auto) Recognizing that they need a mark-up on parts prices to cover overhead and profit, this level of mark-up seems excessive, On questioning no real explanation was given for the high prices charged except some language about the waranty. When I asked for the manufacturer and quality of the after market parts and for the terms of the warranty I received no reply. My friend did get her car diagnosed and repaired correctly and promptlyy and the service was courteous however the veryhigh cost of parts lowers the rating to 3 stars.
