Go to Waterway in skokie it's only a 9 minute drive from here. I paid for the deluxe with the under carriage wash and this dumb tech goes and presses the basic button on me and streaks my 5 bucks, and leaves my under carriage to my trd off road Tacoma salty and grimey! Just go to water way it's only 6 bucks more for the deluxe and they use hot wax and clean the ever living crap out of ur undercarriage! read more

I too, bought a monthly car wash plan and the gate never goes up for me when I pull up. I noticed that my license plate number is on top of the screen and is incorrect. After several times telling the attendant ( after waiting, pressing help and blowing my horn) to just fix it in the system that he is accessing with his key card, he told me to just cancel my plan. I tried canceling a couple of days later and still haven't been reimbursed and I still cannot get into the wash without sitting, waiting and blowing my horn and pissing off other car owners and the attendant. What a hassle for a mediocre car wash. BTW, I really wanted to like this place because Evanston has no good car washes. read more

On May 18th, I paid $19 for a car wash. Upon exiting, I immediately noticed that my vehicle's entire grille was missing and my license plate had been bent inward. I alerted an employee, who went inside the wash and retrieved my grille. It was clearly damaged, with broken parts still attached to my car--indicating it had been forcibly ripped off. Over the past month, I've made multiple attempts to contact the car wash, with limited success. When I did get through, they denied responsibility and claimed the grille must have "blown off." Their listed number routes to a so-called management company that offers no real assistance, frequently doesn't answer, and has a full voicemail box. Pankini and Brent, the "technician" responsible for reviewing photo evidence, have handled the situation poorly and dismissively. Despite my repeated efforts to reach a resolution, they have refused to take responsibility. After researching, I found several negative reviews from others with similar experiences. The business currently has an F rating with the Better Business Bureau, including five unanswered complaints. Because of this, I am filing a civil suit in small claims court. Good car wash at a decent price. There was a little soap left that was not rinsed off but otherwise good.

I have a monthly membership to this car wash. Just about every time I pull up the system doesn't recognize my plate number and someone has to enter it manually. Today I went through the car wash and asked the attendant if he would brush the tail gate of my pickup on the way in because it never cleans it properly. He refused to do it stating "it's just a car wash." I called the phone number and the automated system asked if you would like to speak to an attendant to press 0. It's about 4:20 and it wouldn't transfer my call and didn't state hours of operation. It then ended my call after a couple tI'm cancelling and I wouldn't recommend anyone else pay them for a monthly membership. It's terrible service. read more

Well, I wish I would have read these reviews before going! I should've saved myself $19 and gone to another car wash. The back of my car is still completely dirty and it looks like it wasn't washed at all. Also, my back license plate holder is now broken!?! This place is such a rip off and so unprofessional. I'll start with this. First and foremost, you will NOT be able to get your car washed and cleaned from one visit. If you think it will be a wham bam, think again. You will for sure have to pay for multiple visits in order for your car's exterior to be cleaned. It doesn't matter if your car has a little dirt on it. The machinery that they use is not good. Secondly, the workers are very rude. They pretend that they do not understand English when you ask them a question such as "can you use the hose to remove the dirt off my car?". They laugh at you and say that they don't understand what you are saying. VERY rude Thirdly, they just changed their policy and didn't notify ANY of their customers. If you have a monthly car wash plan, you can only go get your car washed ONE time for the whole day. Those days of you going 3-4 times a day to remove dirt of your car from their JANKY car wash is OVER. If your car isn't cleaned the first time, you either have to pay for additional washes OR bring it back one time tomorrow. A RIP OFF! Luckily, it's very easy to cancel your membership. The car in front of me got stuck and our car kept moving forward. We ended up hitting the car in front of us and got hit from behind. There was minor damage, but still there was damage. We were beeping as much as we could but no one working was paying attention. No one hit the emergency stop. We filed a report after we got out with the management and were ignored. First off, I've never left a yelp review. However, after this experience I feel the need. I recently purchased a Tesla and never put the car in neutral before. When I entered the garage I panicked not knowing how to put the car in neutral. After finally being allowed to back out and quickly learning how to put the car in neutral, I circled back with my paid receipt to reenter, which they would not allow. Both men were yelling at me and telling me I had to pay again, which I didn't. Then one of them starting taking pictures of my car and letting me know I cannot return. It was the strangest experience, really bizarre. They both spoke no English and were yelling at me. I've been to this place many times before, but I guess when people don't put their car in neutral fast enough you get banned. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. I had a monthly plan and got an anew car so I wanted to change the plates over to the new one. They told me that they can't do it so I said ok cancel the plan then. They said ok ok I'll change it took my new plate and it doesn't work. I tried calling and they said email us proof of the charge and will fix it. It's been two weeks and I haven't heard anything back. I'm contacting the BBB and my credit card company to report them as frauds. read more

NO STARS Left this car wash and went to the store. I just happened to look at the back of my SUV when returning to the car and saw that it was still full of dust and dirt, as though it hadn't been cleaned. I tried to call and got no answer, so I returned to the car wash and explained the problem. The guy had a funky attitude and refused to even look at the rear of my car. I am repeatedly disappointed with the washes here anyway, so this was the last straw. I will not be returning to this sham of a car wash ever again. The only reason they got a star was so I could post the terrible service you receive. Went to this car wash today. Purchased the deluxe car wash with the tire shine. I wanted to get the under carriage clean of all the winter salts etc. The quality was extremely poor. The car wash did not deliver. The under carriage was still dirty, you could see it in the wheel wells. The tire shine did not work either. I reported this to the employee. He did speak a little English. I was able to communicate to him the purchase I made. He looked at my car acknowledging that the tires were not done. He indicated there was nothing he could do and there was nobody I could call. I bought a month of unlimited washes back in January from this business. There was no issue with the washes, however they will continue to charge your credit card every month if you select an unlimited wash option. I recently noticed that I was still being charged as I was reviewing my credit card statements. It doesn't say on any of the signs that you will continue to be changed and the employees working there did not mention anything about a subscription either. There is nobody at the carwash itself that can help you with cancellations and you are referred to an office number if you want to end the charges. The office was very unhelpful and difficult to work with. Also they will not give you their office location to talk in person. This kind of recurring charge without a clear explanation is very deceptive! read more

Went there for basic wash, most of the way through the car in front somehow jumped off the conveyor and jammed up, mine kept going and crashed into the one in front as the one behind me crashed into me. Incredible that they have no safety in place for this not the machines nor humans watching the situation. Since the accident although I have attempted on a number of occasions to resolve the situation they just put me off, finally not answering emails and their phone says mailbox full. BEWARE!! DO NOT GO TO THIS CAR WASH!! I was there a couple weeks ago on a crowded sunny day and they were directing cars into the car wash too closely together. While my car was covered in soap, I was hit hard by the car behind me. We were both in neutral so the only explanation was that it was the fault of the conveyor belt that was moving us along. The guy behind me said that he felt like he hit a pot hole and his car was propelled forward into mine. He had no damage to his car, but my bumper was all scraped by his license plate and the paint was removed. We called the police to make a report. There is no office on the premises so I was given a phone number. When I called right away, I was told the person was gone for the day (Friday) and would call me back on Monday. As you can imagine, I never received a call back. I followed up with the person's insurance who hit me, but they determined that I was not his fault because he was in neutral. I tried numerous times to reach the person in charge at the car wash office, but got the run around. Finally, she called me back to say that she had a video that the guy behind me was driving and not in neutral, but she was unable to share that video with anyone. That is was not the fault of the car wash, without being able to share any concrete evidence to prove it. They have no intention of taking any blame or paying for my damage. Car wash is jacked up. They need to put money into repairing. The track that pulls your car is damaged on left side. The brushes that clean your car don't work on the right side. Place looks nice but they need to put money into maintenance quick. Passenger side of car not clean. Paid extra for the wheels. My brand new car got hit during the car wash because someone wasn't managing the system properly. As we are all in neutral, I splurged and selected blaze wash for $15. I was at the end of my car wash when they were cleaning my tires when I noticed in my 36 the car behind me kept on coming towards me and I can tell it was the system guiding him and I was stuck at the tire clean selection and the system was advising me to WAIT. Of course I felt my brand new 2023 car get hit and I have a few scratches. I tried calling but of course they don't work on Sunday. I remind myself to give them a call on Monday. I had a police report I took down the other drives information. The police advised me this happened many times here and it's not their first time there . When speaking to the individual on Monday, they told me to 24 to 48 hrs. it's already been four business days of course tried calling today and they're not working on Saturday.
