This review is for Katy at the Louisville location…read more Did you ever watch the TV show 'Touched by an Angel' and think, "Whoa, what would it feel like to actually be touched by an angel?" If you book a microblading service with Katy at Feather and Blade, you will find the answer to that question. I scheduled my microblading appointment back in March...and then COVID hit and shut everything down, pushing my appointment back. Which, public health obviously matters more than my eyebrows, so no biggie. Finally, I was re-scheduled for early September and I was PUMPED. Even better, Katy honored the original price I paid months before. The day of my appointment, I arrived a few minutes early. The main door is locked so people can't just willy-nilly wander in. Katy was busy cleaning off the table and the surrounding space and I waited outside. After she finished cleaning, she let me into the building. The flow of the space is so relaxing and inviting. I immediately felt at ease. She got a before picture of my eyebrows (any other millennials go through a phase in the early 2000s where you over plucked your eyebrows and they never grew back? Yeahhhh) and then we talked about expectations. I honestly hadn't thought too much about my brows other than knowing I needed them. I knew what I didn't like and told Katy that and some other nonsense that probably wouldn't have made sense to a normal human, but Katy rocks and knew exactly what I meant. She mapped out my new brow shape, talking me through the process and getting my approval with every step. She numbed my brows before beginning any actual work, definitely helped take away some of the sting. The pain level was minimal regardless, plus she talks to you during to keep your mind off it. The attention to detail Katy applies to her craft is amazing. She's done over 800 brows and actively listens to her clients. I felt 100% comfortable with letting her do her magic. She is an artist. Overall, I was THRILLED with the end result. After the week of healing, my new brows look so incredibly natural and full. Exactly what I wanted. Words of Wisdom: 1. Book an appointment with Katy immediately 2. Follow the instructions for taking care of your brows after they've been done, it matters! 3. Tell everyone you know to get their brows done by Katy

Freckles looked beautiful and was told they would last 2-3 years. Within 2 days they were 100% gone, she is very confrontational and rude, pretends not to receive voicemails, calls, or texts. When I get her on the phone she was very aggressive and pretended she couldn't hear me, very demeaning. Asked for a refund and she finally said she would but has yet to do so. I had my sister's eyebrows done some place else, and I was horrified that the individual did not take the time to really "plan" the layout well. Had I not insisted on checking her outline before she started, her eyebrows would have been horrible and I vowed I would not go for my own. So I had emailed Anne about her "process". And she has a real process! Its mathematical with visual inspection is layered on top. She was the gal for me! The shape is great, and looks natural because it is intentionally a little bit different, but completely balanced! They healed up beautifully and just went back today for the touch up. She's a perfectionist! And trust me, that is what you want! Not someone who is winging it! Thank you Anne!

I went here to get my eyebrows threaded for the first time. I have always had thick brows and like…read morethem that way and just wanted them evened out and cleaned up. Which I clearly explained to the lady. She completely ignored me, rudely laid me back, was telling me to hold my brows (again my first time I didn't know what she meant) so when I didn't have my hands exactly where she needed them she harshly was adjusting me and moving my hands around on my face, and then proceeded to give me EXTREMELY thin brows. It was a very upsetting experience. My brows have been apart of my appearance my whole life and I completely regret going here. It was so disrespectful and horrible to be treated the way I was. It is going to take years to grow them back out and get back to the look I asked for and have always had. DONT GO HERE.

The prices are also reasonable and affordable and aligned with what I have paid other places. Once I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and care. She provided the necessary details about what she would be performing and why, i.e., mapping the eyebrows for a more crisp and cleaner shape of the eyebrows. The conversation was humorous and down to earth. The process went fairly quickly, with just enough time for the completion. The location is clean, with natural light and positive energy. I plan on going back because I had a great experience. It can be challenging as a Mom to put myself first with doing things for myself. I have had Brazilian waxing before. The pricing was significantly higher for a man than for a woman. The pricing at Savvy is much more fair. On to my experience; I booked my appointment with Marta. It's a nice touch and makes the reward feel more personal. Since the products were packaged in cardboard boxes, I asked the sales associate if she could show me what a couple of the containers looked like. She happily opened two of the boxes so I could see them. As I was looking at another option, I started to open the box myself, and her attitude changed immediately. She told me that if I opened that box, they would have to throw it away. That really confused me because she had just opened multiple boxes moments earlier to help me compare the products. I couldn't understand why it was acceptable when she did it but not when I did. From that point on, the interaction felt very awkward, and she came across as short and rude. I understand there was a line and they were busy, but if helping customers choose a birthday gift slows down the checkout process, it might make more sense to display the birthday gifts somewhere other than the cash register. I love that Ulta offers choices, but the experience of selecting one shouldn't leave customers feeling like they're inconveniencing the staff. So this rating is based solely on the customer service interaction

I have been a client of Cha Cha's for over a year and have consistently had excellent experiences…read morewith my own stylist, which makes this situation even more disappointing. I scheduled an appointment for my daughter and specifically called the salon in advance to explain that she has very thick hair and would likely need additional appointment time. Despite that conversation, the appointment was not scheduled for enough time to complete the requested services. As a result, the stylist ran out of time, my daughter did not receive the haircut that was scheduled, and we left with highlights that were not completed to the standard we expected. What has been most frustrating has been the effort required to get the issue addressed. I contacted the salon hoping to simply have the services corrected. Instead, I spent several hours over multiple conversations trying to resolve the situation. While I understand the need to gather information, the process felt unnecessarily difficult and was met with repeated explanations rather than clear solutions. I never requested a refund--only an opportunity to have the haircut completed and the highlighting corrected. Unfortunately, after investing significant time trying to work through the issue, I still do not feel that a reasonable resolution has been reached. Based on my experience, Cha Cha's provides excellent service when everything goes as planned. However, if a problem does arise, my experience suggests that resolving it may be far more challenging than it should be. Update: To be clear, I was coordinating the conversation because McKenna was placed under my account by your staff. I was not refusing to let you speak with her. The current process of calling in, then waiting for texts or return calls later in the day, does not work well with her schedule and has made it very difficult to get this resolved in a straightforward way. Based on the photos, I am not sure what additional information is needed. The service was not completed as expected, and the highlights were not well done. Yes, McKenna would like the issue corrected. At this point, I would appreciate a direct call so we can discuss the next step and get this resolved.
