This company does not know how to photograph special needs children. They need a little more finessing than a neuro typical child. The pics I received were terrible and now I'm out over $50. I have no idea how this company got the contract for class photography at public schools but however they did, it appears as it if it was some inside connection. Their customer service is horrible, and if you look at the reviews, it is evident that they could care less because they hold all enough contracts with Public Schools not to care. That is always a formula for a horrible, indifferent, and terrible customer experience. So, I ordered pictures for my daughter's Pre-K class photo requesting Cloud prints, an 8 x 10, magnet photos, and an add on for Metallic Paper. Never received the Metallic Paper print. So I called the customer service phone number, no pick up, and went to voice mail which was "full". Always a bad sign. So I emailed their customer service email. Received a response a day later saying that Metallic Paper isn't offered with the build your own package. No where was this stated, or if it was, it certainly was not made evident. They said we would be refunded by the school when they receive all the details from Class Act Photographers. I assume this will be sometime in the next decade. read more

Wish I could give no star. They don't care how the picture is taken. I had my child retake them 3x and it is still garbage,very unhappy. The packages were expensive for nothing, I felt cheated. The school picture packages use to be better. The next time I see their name on the school packages, I'll save my money not worth the disappointment. read more

How this place is still in business is beyond me . They're work is subpar their photographers aren't good with children . There's always something missing in the packets . The processing time is exorbitant. Luckily I hire a private photographer to get excellent pictures and services . Listen up PTA...choose another company!! ....last year keychains were missing. This year no image text and every single background I chose was wrong. Thank goodness I placed my order online and have proof, because they like to tell you that "that's not what we have on file". So disappointed. My sons first pics were messed up because he was smiling funny. I had him retake them. Then, I finally( took a while) get his retakes and he has a piece of food on his lip. Did the photographer not see that? It makes more sense to me if the photographers pay attention to those things in the beginning to avoid retakes for silly things such as half smiles and food on the face. Lastly, once I get the package, the magnet pictures are lifting from them magnet. Smh. For my money y'all have to do better! PS I'm an educator and I see this happen all the time with my students, so don't make it seem like this isn't a frequent thing. read more

They are the most unprofessional people ever very rude they made a mistake on my daughters name spelt wrong and won't rectify the problem and refuse to give me to a manager and it's disgraceful if you want pictures that look like your child took them then you have found the right place. I'm still trying to figure out how this company was able to secure a contract for sports photos in my town. My son's photos came and the envelope was soaking wet. I understand this is not their issue but unfortunately USPS can't reprint these photos for me. I called and spoke to a customer service. The woman who was beyond unhelpful and rude to say the least. I explained the situation and she said it wasn't their problem. Offered to reprint the photos but I needed to send these back (pay for shipping and a mailer envelope) and pay for shipping of the new photos. I think is completely unfair considering the amount of money I spent on the photos to begin with. I asked if they would be able to send me a digital copy of the photo and I would go to Walgreens or cvs to print for a fraction of the shipping cost and she said I needed to pay $12 for that. I am beyond disgusted with the awful customer service I received. I will reach out to the sports league to let them know and hopefully they can secure a contract with another photographer for next season. read more

I paid online through the website for my son's school photos. Come to find out his photos were not taken at school because no one bothered to check if he was paid for. They assumed he didn't pay because he didn't have the physical form. Even so, they could hav efakwn his photo and confirmed payment afterwards. Horrible! read more

Its been a second year Class Act Photographers take pictures of the class my kid attends. Worst pictures I have ever seen! I used to work as a school photographer myself and I somewhat familiar with the process. That is why I was really shocked when I saw ketchup leftover on my daughter's face! Really?! You ate taking pictures of the first graders. Is it so damn difficult to ask a teacher to take care of kids outfit etc?! Yes, I know, you are on a timer and need to spend no more that 30-40 seconds per kid. But come one... ketchup on kid's face? Yes, it a great memory for parents. And the previous year you guys could not even focus on the kid's face. Do yourself a favor - get some photography classes so you could at least get the general idea on how to work with kids and how to hold the camera. read more

Absolute worst. Every year there's some issue with the pictures, but the last straw for me was my son taking his graduation pictures and 1) his hair being messed up and no one bothering to tell him, and 2) being told by the nasty woman on the phone, that there is only ONE PICTURE. I said, excuse me? You took one picture for his graduation photos?? She said no, they took more, but the photographer pics the best one and puts it on the proof sheet. Oh really? The PHOTOGRAPHER gets to pick my son's graduation picture? Does he want to pay for the pictures as well? She said "only 12th grade gets multiple pictures for parents to choose from." Why? My son is graduating as well, this will be in his yearbook, and I don't have the right to pick which one is best?? So I told her, well since I didn't get a choice in the picture, I'm so glad that I have a choice whether or not to use you as the photographer. I'll be having my son's pictures taken elsewhere. I hope these schools smarten up and stop using this company. read more

If I could give Class Act 0 stars, I would. I received my son's pictures and they gave us the wrong background. The background they gave us is horrendous. I called the company and all they could do is reorder the pictures and it'll take another 2 weeks before they send them back to my son's school. There is nothing additional they can do. I asked them for a return label and a refund and they do not do that. All they can do is reorder the pictures and send them back to school which is their job anyway and they have to do that because they already took my money. Very disgusted and disappointed. Will be opening a case with the BBB. read more

Paid online for my son's pic's and received incorrect background / pic's and only part of the order. Thank goodness the online email / order provides evidence of what I ordered since they kept telling me it was my error. Several emails / phone calls later, they finally acknowledged the error so I was told to mail everything back first before they could fix anything which makes no sense. Once the photos were returned, then I was told they never received my returned photos even though I had evidence that they were delivered. Weeks later they finally acknowledged that they did indeed receive my returned photos. At this point, I just want my money back for my order but was told I will only receive a partial credit since the incorrect photo / background was texted to me with cloud access (apparently this is non-refundable). If you are looking to increase your stress level or just waste a lot of time and money, then I would highly recommend this company. read more

It is shameful that schools continue to use this place for class pictures. They don't even bother to check if the shots are good. How hard is it to make sure a child is ready and looking at the camera before snapping a shot and moving on to the next student? Then they have the nerve to send the pictures home of my son looking downward and providing a password to order additional prints. Do your photographers have any pride whatsoever of your work? The refund policy is also terrible. They expect the parents to pay for postage to mail the pictures back to them before issuing a refund. I even offered to cut up the prints and send them a photo if they were worried about me keeping the prints. If you're a business and you screw up, you should NOT be making the customers pay further to correct YOUR mistakes. read more

Whoever answers that phone has zero empathy. My daughters first class photo she had her eyes closed and two other children are looking in the wrong direction. I understand it is difficult to get kids to all look in the same direction, so I asked if I could have a copy of one of the other shots where my daughter is looking at the camera and she said we are not going to print it out for one person. Excuse me, but I did pay for the picture and those pictures are not cheap!? I'm really disappointed at the way I was treated. I just hung up, because clearly, I wasn't going anywhere with her and she really didn't care. The other pictures were very nice. read more

This company is absolutely horrible!! First, they try to shove the useless 1 1/2 x 2 1/2 and smile packs down your throats. All packages included it and if you chose to build your own package without it came to more. That is not even the worst part! This horrific company told my 5th grade child that he WAS NOT ALLOWED TO SMILE IN HIS PICTURE BECAUSE HE HAS BRACES! I picked my son up from school and the first thing he said was "picture day was horrible" and told me the story. The poor excuse for a company also told another child who has a little blue in her hair that it looked like someone pulled a prank on her while she was sleeping and dyed her hair blue. These are 5th grade CHILDREN!! Where are they getting their staff? In a time when we are trying to teach our children that bullying is unacceptable, this company is sending bullies into our schools. Do they do any type of background checks on them? There are also numerous reports that the staff was very "rough" with many of the students. All of this is absolutely unacceptable. I placed 4 calls to the company in two weeks time and still have not received a call back in reference to this. read more
