I went to a taco place near my house that I found was closed on Mondays, so I searched Waze for a taco place. This was the next closest one, so I went there. I was just going to pick up a few tacos for myself and my kids and right there on the board was "Family Meal" which was 9 tacos of any kind (asada, carnitas, pollo, or al pastor.), chips & salsa, rice & beans, and choices of salsa for $35 I am happy to say, the food was delicious, prepared right, salsas were great, service was great and I have food left over. I have found a new taco place and it's so much closer than my other favorite taco place. Try out the family deal and enjoy. read more

Classico Taco has outstanding food and is worth the wait. They are definitely not a fast food restaurant . We always call about 50-60 minutes before we want to pick it up. Customer service was OK. I didn't really interact too much cause all I picked up was just a burrito asada burrito I only have two complaints about this place number #1 the burrito had way too much rice. Didn't really have that much meat Second I bought a burrito and a Pepsi aluminum can everything came out to almost $17. I don't make that much money per hour but if you're gonna take almost $20 from me for lunch then I'm not coming back. Delicious food! I would say a hole in the wall kind of place. Not very many ppl that I know, know about this place. For me I will always order their torta de asada and my hubby loves their sopes. The staff is usually really nice. I recommend ordering in advance since it can take a while for the food to be ready since it's made to order. Came to clasico today for lunch today been wanting to taste a California style burrito. i've never heard of a California style burrito, which is crazy because I lived in California my whole life and I thought all burritos were California style but no this burrito has Carne Asada or the meat of your choice. I chose Carne Asada that has french fries sour cream cheese, pico de gallo, and guacamole and then it put back on the griddle to melt the cheese and seal the burrito. no I got the burrito the way it's supposed to be, but I don't like guacamole. I hate guacamole so I got it without the guacamole which I'm happy with. I'm not happy with is that the salsa is not good at this restaurant I wish it tasted better, but it didn't other than that. The burrito was wonderful. I wish the Carne Asada was just a little bit more flavorful and it could use a little bit more salt but other than that, I think they do the California burrito right the service in the restaurant was good. It's a really small joint. I would say they couldn't hold more than maybe 10 people and the ambience is nothing to write home about two liquor stores next to the restaurant and I believe a tire store or a mechanic store across the street so the ambience is really OK but the people are nice and so far the California style burrito is good. read more

One of our go to Mexican restaurants. Food is consistently good. We love their carne asada street tacos and can eat them en masse. Service isn't fast, but they cook to order so the food is hot and fresh. It's a hole in the wall type of place, which usually means good food. read more

Everything here tastes good. The only complaint I have is the time it takes to prepare an order. Yes they have a sign that says the food is prepared when you order but the waiting time is sometimes very excessive. I went there on a Saturday afternoon and noticed they had 2 orders (well at least there were only 2 pieces of it paper up on the metal area where the cooks reference for the orders) and even with these 2 orders, it took 25 minutes to get my food. It's best to call in your order and even then, be prepared to be placed on hold for a while. read more

I updated my review. This place is still fire. Really good authentic Mexican food but just like every other restaurant the prices are a big difference. This place is keeping up with the economy and of course California being so expensive, they needed to raise prices. The new prices are high not gonna lie, I recently got 3 tortas, 2 tacos, 1 burrito and chips and salsa (no combos or drinks) and it was 77 dollars. I used to come here a lot before it was cheaper usually spend 30 bucks with combos and drinks and now it's more than double. I've come to this establishment before, the tacos are decent, but whoever the cashier is has a bad attitude, I called to pace an order over the phone and kept on hold for a very long time, I hung up and tried calling again for several times and phone kept going to voicemail, went to the place and told them that they kept me on hold for a long time . Love this taco place they make everything fresh which may take awhile but it is well worth it. It is a little hole in the wall with amazing service. They only have quesatacos on Tuesday and Wednesday but it is my absolute favorite. Something to note is they longer have free chips so you do have to pay if you want some and they come in varying sizes. The chips are very tasty though. Slow service but the food is pretty good. Quite frankly it's phenomenal when compared to the sea of Mi Ranchitos and Medrano's we're forced to endure out here. It's a rather small place and everything is not just made to order but made from scratch by seasoned cooks so this isn't the kind of spot where you can run in and grab an order of tacos in under 10 minutes but the quality, flavor and portion sizes are worth the wait. Their house made salsas are delicious and they're very generous with how much they give you. They do tend to run out of things randomly at mid-day (I've ordered a torta here for lunch 2-3 times and was told I needed to wait for more bread to be delivered. They've also run out of chicken and carne asada multiple times). But like I said, the food is well worth the wait. So I hang up and call back and ask them if it's possible for them to at least ask the reason for calling before making you wait. She right away defensively and rudely says "yeah I can tell you why. Because we're busy." EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE. My husband calls while I'm on hold and doesn't let him ask his question. Right away puts him on hold as well. This place has good food. We ordered the Classico Burrito with chicken and the Shrimp Cocktail. Both were good. It is a all place with limited staff. The service is not fast because is not a fast food service. There is only one person working there, but works really hard and she's friendly. We will definitely be back. read more

Hands down they have really good California burritos, steak & chicken tacos, carne asada fries & the steak chimichangas are not so bad. Personally, I am not a verde sauce or salsa kind of girl, so I cannot speak on the verde sauce or salsa, but I can tell you the red chili sauce and red salsa is really tasty. I like the amount of heat/spice from the red chili sauce and the amount of cilantro in the mild red salsa. read more
