Dr. Jones did an…read moreoutstanding job; my exam took longer than I'm sure was planned, but he was thorough, and made some discoveries that led to glasses that helped me see better! Fairview Eyecare's eye exams are priced fairly, but skip their contact service. The last time I got…read morecontacts through them, I was told they were competitive with online vendors (they're not) and given a mail in-rebate (which the manufacturer "lost" until the rebate period had passed). This time, the trial pair did not fit. I was told I'd have to come back for a new trial pair. When I asked if they'd simply send the pair to my house, they refused because "it costs money and the trial pair is free." I debated on 1 to 3 stars on this review. I felt like the selection wasn't great here. I felt…read morerushed, and I felt like I was up sold. Also, afterwards I realized that my prescription was off -- maybe it was part of the feeling rushed process. 3 stars. My prescription is just far enough off to be annoying -- like .5 off. (-1 star) 2 stars I gave them a 2 for their mask habits, which made me dread going in every time. When you wear a mask, they ask you if they should wear one. This is like someone asking "Do you mind if I smoke?" If I say, 'yes' you will get annoyed and then I am the bad guy for trying to create a safe situation. If I say, 'no' then I feel like I am putting myself at risk for your comfort. (-1 star) 1 star The people seemed nice, so I didn't realize how bad of an experience I was having. (+1 star) 2 stars

Because someone didn't feel like doing her job that day, then tells a completely different version to managers?? Whatever happened to customer service?? I was over the moon ecstatic after my daughters appointment yesterday with Dr. Stacy Becvar! About…read morea year and a half ago, I had taken my daughter to a different eye doctor in town and they could not get her to see with corrective lenses. They referred us to specialists in St. Louis to have a multitude of tests ran. We were told that she was going to go blind due to a degenerative disease. Luckily this was a misdiagnosis; however, we still had no answers as to why they couldn't fit my daughter with some glasses. We were beyond frustrated! We switched to Becvar Optometry and one year later she has 20x20 vision with no corrective lenses! Dr. Stacy Becvar was quick to diagnose her stating that the muscles that help to focus her eyes weren't working properly and needed to be trained (in my layman's terms). She put her in some glasses that were to help her eye muscles learn to adjust. One year ago, she could barely make out the biggest row of letters on the eye chart. Yesterday at our appointment, it was pretty amazing to see her be able to read every single letter on the screen...even the smallest ones! We think Becvar Optometry is the best! Besides being crazy smart to figure all this out when no one else seemed to be able to help us; she's super nice, genuine and truly caring!

Called my insurance and asked what was going on. They had to call Steve at Family Focus and talk to him and they told him you are under contract to offer all 3 levels of progressive lenses.
