Excellent quality of care from the doctors and the staff. The prices are affordable and allow access to wide range of frames and lenses.

Despite my PCP and cardiologist giving a much better prognosis, she doubled down. I spent five days thinking I was dealing with a terminal condition. It was so traumatizing and unnecessary. I saw a different retina specialist who did almost five hours of testing and visiting compared to her not even one hour and came back with a much different prognosis. It was not life threatening in anyway and even the prognosis for my vision was better than what she had shared. This retina specialist's consideration for my condition included things about my history that she refused to give attention to when I attempted to share. He explored other avenues based on this and came to a much more reasonable understanding of what had happened and what I needed to do. My cardiologist's office had strongly encouraged me to see a different retina specialist based on her inability to hear anything different than what she had decided to be true. I was also warned that she is shaming to anyone who is overweight and that unfortunately it impacts her perception and judgment. I am about 55 lbs overweight. I am all for doctors discussing weight loss and helping me on my journey and dealing with the issues directly. However, to make a terminal diagnosis without all the information is horrific. I am not sure if she wanted to scare me to be motivating. But I don't think so because even when I clarified all I was doing lifestyle wise to better my health, she said "The damage is already done." She made a lot of other negative assumptions that were inaccurate. For example, she said that when she worked in California people didn't have this because they eat a plant based diet. I said "I have been a vegetarian for thirty five years and don't usually eat any dairy." She ignored that. She said in California, people don't get vein occlusions because of their lifestyle. And at that point, I asked her if the prognosis was an attempt to motivate me to lose weight. I was terrified by the prognosis and was actually hoping she would acknowledge this. But she said it was not, it was accumulative and damage was already done and bettering my lifestyle could possibly help but she still would stand by a five year prognosis. Awful experience. My husband and I are seeing a trauma therapist because of the five days we spent thinking I was dying prior to getting in to see a retina specialist who gave a much better prognosis. I had been on a ventilator last fall because of pneumonia. I came out of that experience, regained full health and had not experienced any lasting psychological impact. After these five days of thinking I was dying, I now wake regularly with dreams of being pulled off the ventilator. I think the way she treated us should be criminal. I wish it was and she could lose her license to practice. I would not wish her on my worst enemy.
