The selection at this store is quite vast, but can feel sometimes like a random selection of items with very little order to structure to the place. The layout is quite crowded for a store of this size, with clothes often dumped in heaps on the floor or thrown onto the display shelves in disorder. The quality of the clothes is also quite poor - I accidentally bought a top in Primark that had somehow managed to be sewn with the straps entangled, and was virtually unwearable. The staff seem friendly and the service is good, but the queues are often quite long and the temperature in the store is often uncomfortably hot for no explicable reason. Of course, the prices of items are, as would be expected, low.

There is a shoe section but this is predominantly for women. This is quite a small Primark compared to some I've been in. The main problems in this store are that in the summer it is like stepping into a sauna, as there is no air conditioning, and believe me, it gets HOT! The other bug bear is if you go on a Saturday, expect to have to queue for quite a while. Apart from that, not a bad shop for bargains!

The branch of Clarks in Wolsey Place Shopping centre is the smaller of the two branches of Clarks…read morein Woking. It's a really tiny shop which is hard to navigate with a buggy or wheelchair. Despite the size of the store they seem to carry a wide range of mens and ladies shoes. They also carry a few ladies handbags. There is no childrens department in this branch - for that you have to go to the branch in the Peacocks Centre. Seating is available in store but is limited. Staff seem to be friendlier and older than in the main branch an, as a result, I think you actually get better service. It's worth remembering that ths store exists at sale time as they often have better shoes in the sale than the main branch which seems to shift odd stock. I guess that people forget about the branch and so they also tend to have more popular sizes in the sale.

They advertise that they offer a full fitting service but, as I found out, it's not necessarily all it's cracked up to be. The kids department is upstairs and the stairs are hard and unguarded.
