The service and knowledge of the staff is both friendly and first class. There is street parking outside the store; and side street and car park parking close by. Highly recommended. They are expensive if you buy their branded shoes but they also sell a great selection of Clarkes and Startrite. In fact they had a better choice that Clarkes and John Lewis and the shoes were the same price. I found the service better in here that the two previously mentioned shops. They were really lovely to my shy 22 month old and overall it was a very pleasant shopping experienced. This will definately be my first stop when shopping for my childrens shoes in the future.

The staff can be quite pushy too - launching at you the moment you walk in the door. That said I have purchased some shoes here and the experience was a good one.

This is a really nice shoe shop in Christopher Place, St Albans. It's a nicely decorated shop with…read moretrendy (read expensive!) shoes. The selection of shoes is not particularly large but they tend to be good shoes and they have what is popular at the moment. It's rarely crowded and therefore is a slightly more pleasant shopping experience than going into some of the more popular high street shoe shops. The main negative point of this shop is that it doesn't sell children's sizes which is surprising since every other person in St Albans seems to be pushing a pushchair or have a school aged child in tow.

I used this last week to get my son is second pair of shoes and continue to be impressed with their service. There always seems to be a massive wait to be seen though! As for adults shoes, I think they are much better style-wise than they used to be and what I like best is they do half sizes which a lot of shops don't!

There is a wide selection of shoes and there is a good number of well trained fitters. The shop has been made comfortable for children with padded seats and the department is as far away as possible from the open front doors. On arriving you should take a ticket to secure your place in the queue. We have sometimes had to wait up to 1 hour before being served but it's worth the wait. Staff are patient with the children and are prepared to take time over the fitting. Clarks shoes are expensive but they are, in my opinion, certainly worth the extra. There tends to be sales twice a year one in early December and one late spring.
