I gave them a tall task. I do realize this. After a food transport gone horribly wrong, I left them an SUV full of pork grease. I was told to leave it for 24 hrs and it would be ready first thing in the morning. When I arrived to pickup, the carpet was mildly damp but I said it was fine. I didn't mind it slightly damp. What I didn't realize is that it wasn't fully clean. If the issue was that they weren't done, they should have told me. I could have waited longer. I paid $175 + a $35 tip and drove off. My fuel light was on. Odd. It wasn't on when I dropped it off, but I digress. As I was fueling my car, I opened my hatch and looked closer. There was still pork fat in the latch. And along the crease of the hatch. The cup holders in front still had some grime in them. And the console had spots and some grime. C'mon. For the cup holders and console, all it took was some car cleaner and a soft cloth and it was clean, but after a car detail? Couldn't they have done that? And if I paid $210, why am I standing outside on a step stool with a toothbrush, cleaning my car in a 13 degree windchill? The carpet is clean. -The pork grease gone from that. For this, I suppose I'm satisfied enough, but for a "detail", there certainly wasn't enough detail. read more

DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR BUSINESS. First of all, they do a shitty job of washing cars. My car still had dirt on the outside and they barely cleaned the inside. Dust and dirt all over the dash and seats. Secondly, the service is shit and the guys that work here are rude. The guy who was washing my car left soap all over the back bumper and when I pointed it out he replied "he's going to blow it off" umm what? He actually thought that soaping up the car and having another guy blow it off was a good way to respond to a customer. And lastly, all of this for 35$ what a ripoff!! They have no business charging more than $15-20, and these guys charge 35 for their most basic hand wash. I have no idea how this place is still in business - oh right it's because people continue to give them business. Do us all a favor, and please go somewhere else and hope this crappy place shuts down. read more

Poor quality wash, Looking for a hand car wash in the area - this will not be it , Cash only- thats a little annoying but ok , not really busy thats pretty good - awkward pulling in car as get a staredown because i didnt know you have to back car our of bay ? that is a bad setup The wash itself approximately 15 minutes or so that is good - however after pulling off and going to haircut appt and looking around in the car then outside once i arrived there - i was literally asking myself. did they even wash this car ?? Sprayed some generic scent in the car thats ok so i knew they were inside , the mats were cleaned yes. - everything else ? My wife had a terrible experience at Clarks hand wash today. 1) they charged her $30 for a detail and to their credit it was detailed well. 2) she paid with 2 $20s and asked for change so she could give a tip to the guy who did the detail. She was told they were cash only and they didn't have change. Really you have no change at a cash only car wash business? Ummm you're lying and your employee didn't get a tip as a result. Enjoy the $10 that was meant for him. 3) THE CAR SMELLS LIKE SMOKE 10 HOURS LATER. My wife is 8 months pregnant and neither her, myself or our 2 year old daughter smoke. This was my first visit and I will definitely go back! They did such a great job of washing my car and cleaning the interior. My favorite pug rides in my car frequently and lovingly leaves his hair all over... they vacuumed out my car better than any other car wash I've been to in the past. They paid attention to the details, polished my wheels and made sure all the chrome was shiny! Really happy with the end result. read more

I found this place while visiting my sister in Naperville. It's just north of the Audi dealer in the back of a strip with all kinds of automotive shops. Anyway, these guys do a great job and my car looked brand new coming out of there. I try to go there whenever I'm out in Naperville if my car is dirty. They use clean towels to wash and dry and don't leave dirty swirls like other places do. You won't be disappointed. read more

I wish I had good things to say as I went in excited to support a local business, but I was greeted with extremely rude service.

Big disappointment... I took my suv to Clark's for a full detail to the sum of $225. I was told my car would be as clean as if I drove off the show room floor. Well, far from a good detail, more like a good car wash and decent interior cleaning. Never touched the middle row or third row leather seats. Did not shampoo the carpet in the third row or the cargo area. I found my grandchild's sippy cup and gold fish cracker on the floor in the third row! The only reason I am giving them two stars is because they did a decent job on the exterior, but even their I had to wipe excess tire shine off the chrome rims. Needless to say, I won't be back there. Don't throw away your money at this establishment, it's not worth it. read more

I really enjoyed coming here. This is a small family run operation and everyone I talked with were genuine, laid back and friendly (they are the same people that do the actual work on the cars). While searching for a detail shop I kept coming across horror stories about personal items getting stolen or buttons/seat belts getting broken. But after meeting these guys, I wasn't worried at all. Don't let it bother you if they're short/direct on the phone. I ordered the interior-only detailing as I had some pretty big stains on my seats (which I made worse after attempting to get them out myself). I was very pleased with the work they did. It took two tries to get the stains out and I could tell they didn't half heatedly try like some other shops probably would. Overall: excellent value for what you pay for. There were a couple of small areas they didn't get to but I'm not that picky and for $100 all my expectations were met. It's rare to come across people that take pride in their work.
