Will not recommend this place to anyone. the lady in the front office is rude for no reason because you asked her a question. About the quoted they gave me. because they wanted to up charge me and couldn't give me an answer why the amount was not what i was quoted snatched my card out my hand and when I said something the owner wanted to yell at me instead of correcting his employee as he stand there and watch all this happened and the owner had the nerve to tell me to get out and he hope my car stopped 5 ft when I pulled off after you worked on my car and I gave you my money. Horrible experience. Had my car towed there after it died and would not start. It took them 8 days to finally look at it. And then tried to call and tell me it was the starter and possibly a bad battery. I had just bought a six year battery 2 years ago and my car is a 2017 so I wasn't convinced it was the starter. She tried to tell me it would be almost $800 to replace my starter. $1200 for a starter and battery! Which is insane!So after making a few calls I called her back and told her I can't afford that and would get my car off of there lot by the next day. They were not happy!! Then when I took it some place else to have it looked at,came to find out my starter was just fine! And my battery that I had installed 2 years ago is not the same battery I had put in 2 years prior! So they literally tried to screw me out of $1200 dollars and switched my battery which I'm assuming to make it look like it was a bad one! Soo being a single mom at Christmas time didn't mean crap to these people! They are as crooked as they come!! Luckily I was smart enough to get a second opinion and take my car elsewhere! I decided to go through Clark's Garage because Jeff Jones is a family friend of someone I consider family. My 2004 Mazda 3 needed a new engine. I had a list of repairs, such as the engine replacement, the brakes, struts, new tires, a dint, a fresh battery, and an oil change. Jeff spoke with me on the phone personally. He didn't have the slightest idea what the total would cost me... until I mentioned I have a $5,000 budget. I could hear his voice increase with excitement. He said his shop would take care of the list for me. A week later I got my car back. I spent the money. All the work that had been done was the engine, oil change, and battery. About two months after visiting the shop to retrieve my car, my car suddenly stopped when I accelerated out of a parking lot. Clark's Garage told me it was my gauge cluster. I was told it would be $2,018. So I left my car at the shop until I could get the money to pay for the repair. I was an idiot for even going back to the shop. My gear shift wouldn't even let me down shift because they must've failed at installing the engine properly. Later, at another location I learned that the "gauge cluster" issue was only a battery issue. The shop put in a very cheap battery. Just a $70 fix. Also. The environment in the shop isn't stable. Jeff likes to drink and get aggressive towards people when he isn't getting his way. He's a child and an idiot. read more

Horrible experience. Back in December we went to get our oil changed. We brought out own oil and filter. They said they changed it, charged us, and we left. Then in April (we waited longer because of the oil that we bought) we brought it back to be changed again and they claimed that the last person who did the changed stripped the plug and that we would need a new $500 oil pan. When my husband tried to tell them that they were the last people who changed it, they denied it, even going so far as to remove the Clark's Garage sticker from our car's windshield and claim that an entirely different sticker from a different place was what they found in our car. We took the car to another mechanic who confirmed that this was a scam (replaced the oil and the plug for MUCH less than $500 dollars-we didn't need a new oil pan) and told us that the oil that had been in our car hadn't been changed in well over 6 months. In other words, they stole a bottle of oil from us, charged us for work that they didn't do, and then tried to scam us again after they damaged our car. Do not go here. read more

Charged me $25 for a turn signal bulb that costs less than $5 at Walmart. Even being a loyal customer, spending a lot of money on my vehicles there, wonder how many other times they ripped me off?! read more

I would honestly give less than 1 I went to get an oil change (great price) asked if they would mind changing my turn signal (old car takes five minutes) and exchange a wiper blade I had the blades and bulbs the guy got mad and said I had to pay well no shit I wasn't planning on you doing it out of the kindness of your heart. They get done with it very quickly I was excited I get in my car and they had charge me for both turn signals and only put in one bulb and so I called and told him he got rude with me and said if you're that worried about five dollars come and get it I was upset so I just said forget it and left it at that and then three weeks later my engine blows my oil filter wasn't put on correctly and popped off My husband called and told them that we lost all of our oil and it will filter wasn't put on correctly and we blew our engine the guy who was talking to him was not the owner instead will give you a new oil filter and was very rude and for people who put Jesus loves you on their Oil stickers I didn't find you to be very Christian like moral of the story do not get your oil changed at Clark's garage read more

Folks, If you're having boat work done... take it somewhere else! They've had my boat since November... still not ready... They don't follow through with what they tell you. The day we dropped it off we expressed concerns about it being left outside. They promised it would be inside the very next day... it's been out in the weather for over three months now... I was told they have it ready in plenty of time for fishing season which starts Saturday. It's now late Tuesday and still not ready... I was told that their boat guy was in an accident but that they would order the parts so that when he got back he could get on it right away. Today... I'm told they still are waiting on parts... Don't take anything there if you need it back in a reasonable time... 3 1/2 months is too long to do simple repairs! read more

I recentley had service at Clark's Garage Danville my anti-lock light came on and so they put a wheel cylinder on. I was told that I needed tie rods you could shake them with your hands. I talked with Jeff the owner and asked what it would cost he told me make appointment that it was taken care of. I was really puzzled because this don't happen every day. I still don't really know who paid for this all he said was to thank God so I did. His daughter pulled my car up to the door so I wouldn't have to walk to far they all have been great just trying to make aliving I will go back for my oil changes and anything else I need. We had a tire and brakes go out on the highway near Clark's. They fit us in their schedule and fixed the tire and brakes within 5 hours of us contacting them. They even let us use an old truck they had to get us back to the hotel. They were a life saver for us in a time of need. Great job guys! read more

I love Clark's Garage! Was looking for a garage that I could trust and feel comfortable discussing issues of concern regarding my vehicle. Jeff and his staff are very knowledgeable and professional. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Diagnostics are explained in a manner that I appreciate. No question I ask ever seems insignificant. I took my 2006 Chevy Trailblazer in and was worried I needed a new fuel pump. Jeff explained he thought it could be a valve (considerably less). Turns out he was right. I always leave feeling I have received the best service regardless if it is mechanical or an oil change. We are fortunate to have Clark's Garage in our community. read more

i have been taking my vehicle to clarks for around 3 yrs now and have always been very happy with the service i have recieved. they only charge 19.95 for full service oil changes and they keep me updated on what i need now or what i will need later..the owners are a christian family and will make every effort to save you as much money as they can. Just as every shop, im sure they have had something go wrong on someones vehicle and that is why i will only give 4 stars. i dont think anyone is perfect, but the owners really do care about helping there customers..give them a try read more
